    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi siswa fase C sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut disebabkan siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam menjelaskan ide pokok, menjelaskan fakta dan detail materi bacaan berdasarkan ADIKSIMBA, membuat kesimpulan isi bacaan, dan menyimpulkan amanat bacaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran RADEC berbantuan media booklet digital untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi siswa fase C sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah 53 siswa kelas V di dua sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 27 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji perbedaan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon dan uji Mann-Whitney, dan interpretasi nilai N-Gain. Level of signivicance yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 0,05 (5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki perolehan skor keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata N-Gain skor 0,6128 dan N-Gain persen 61,2766. Sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata N-gain Skor -0,0013 dan N-gain persen -0,3317. Temuan tersebut menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC berbantuan media booklet digital cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi siswa fase C sekolah dasar. This study was motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of phase C elementary school students. This is due to students who still have difficulties in explaining the main idea, explaining facts and details of reading material based on ADIKSIMBA, making conclusions about the content of the reading, and concluding the mandate of the reading. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of RADEC learning model assisted by digital booklet media to improve reading comprehension skills of exposition text of phase C elementary school students. This research used quantitative approach with quasi experimental method and nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 53 grade V students in two public elementary schools in West Bandung Regency. The sample in this study was divided into 27 students as the experimental class and 26 students as the control class. The instrument used in this study was an exposition text comprehension reading skill test instrument. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality test, difference test using Wilcoxon Test and Mann-Whitney test, and interpretation of N-Gain value. The level of significance used in this research is 0.05 (5%). The results showed that the experimental class had a better reading comprehension skill score compared to the control class. The experimental class obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.6128 and N-Gain per cent of 61.2766. While the control class obtained an average N-gain score of -0.0013 and N-gain per cent of -0.3317. The findings show that the RADEC learning model assisted by digital booklet media is effective enough to improve the reading comprehension skills of exposition texts of phase C elementary school students.
