Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk tes diagnostik two-tier multiple choice yang dikembangkan melalui tahap tes esai, tahap tes pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka, dan tahap uji reliabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Metode kualitatif dilakukan ketika mendeskripsikan kontribusi hasil tes esai dan hasil tes pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka terhadap penyusunan opsi pada tes two-tier multiple choice. Metode kuantitatif dilakukan ketika menghitung nilai CVR dan koefisien korelasi untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal yang dikembangkan. Tes diagnostik two-tier multiple choice yang berhasil dikembangkan berjumlah 14 butir soal. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data sebanyak 14 miskonsepsi dari hasil tes esai digunakan dalam penyusunan opsi pengecoh untuk tingkat pertama dan melengkapi pengecoh untuk tingkat kedua, sedangkan sebanyak 21 miskonsepsi dari hasil tes pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka digunakan dalam penyusunan opsi pengecoh untuk tingkat kedua. Sebanyak 14 butir soal yang dikembangkan nilai CVR nya berkisar pada rentang 0,2–1. Hasil CVR menunjukkan 12 butir soal diterima dan dua butir soal ditolak. Sebanyak 12 butir soal yang diterima diuji reliabilitasnya dan didapat koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,596 yang menunjukkan bahwa reliabilitas soal termasuk kategori cukup. Dari 12 butir soal yang sudah valid dan cukup reliabel dilakukan uji coba terbatas kepada 79 siswa kelas XII. Miskonsepsi yang dapat terungkap dari hasil uji coba terbatas adalah: (1) penurunan tekanan uap terjadi karena partikel zat terlarut berupa nonvolatil dengan demikian larutannya menjadi mudah menguap; (2) ketika larutan membeku partikel pelarut dan terlarutnya merapat dan tersebar merata supaya seimbang; (3) penurunan titik beku terjadi karena titik beku zat terlarut lebih rendah daripada titik beku pelarutnya sehingga butuh suhu yang lebih rendah supaya semua partikel dalam larutan membeku; (4) konsentrasi larutan berbanding lurus dengan penurunan titik beku karena semakin banyak partikel terlarut yang menghalangi partikel pelarutnya untuk membeku; (5) ketika suatu larutan mendidih pelarut mendidih terlebih dahulu kemudian terlarutnya mendidih; (6) kenaikan titik didih larutan terjadi karena larutan memiliki lebih banyak partikel yang harus dididihkan daripada pelarut murni; (7) konsentrasi larutan berbanding lurus dengan kenaikan titik didih karena partikel terlarut butuh energi yang lebih besar untuk bertumbukan sehingga suhu yang dibutuhkan supaya larutan mendidih menjadi lebih tinggi; (8) pada peristiwa osmosis awalnya pelarut yang pindah ke larutan sama dengan pelarut yang pindah ke pelarut murni namun akhirnya perpindahan pelarut hanya terjadi dari pelarut murni ke larutan; dan (9) sifat koligatif larutan elektrolit dikalikan faktor i sedangkan sifat koligatif larutan nonelektrolit tidak dikalikan faktor i. Kata Kunci: Tes Diagnostik, Two-Tier Multiple Choice, Miskonsepsi, Sifat Koligatif Larutan.   This study aimed to produce a two-tier multiple choice diagnostic test that developed through an essay test, open-ended question test, and reliability test. This study used a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative). Qualitative methods used when describing the contribution of the result of an essay test and open-ended question test to the development of an option on a two-tier test multiple choice. Quantitative methods used when calculating the value of the CVR and the correlation coefficient to determine the quality of the items were developed. The total of two-tier multiple choice items that successfully developed were 14. Based on the result of this study, as many as 14 misconceptions find from essay test were used to develop the distracter on first-stem and second-stem, while as many as 21 misconceptions find from open-ended question test were used to develop the distracter on second-stem. A total of 14 items were developed having a CVR value in the range of 0.2-1. CVR results show that 12 items accepted and rejected two items. A total of 12 items were accepted then tested its reliability and the correlation coefficient obtained were 0.596 which indicates that this product were sufficiently reliable. The 12 items that valid and sufficiently reliable were pilot tested to 79 students of XIIth grade. Misconceptions that can be revealed from the result of pilot test were: (1) vapor pressure depression occurs due to the solute particles are non-volatile thus the solution being volatile; (2) when a solution freeze, the solvent and solute particles solidify together and spread evenly in order to balance the system; (3) freezing point depression occurs due to the f.p. of the solute is lower than the f.p. of the solvent thus it took a lower temperature for all particles in solution solidify; (4) concentration of the solution is proportional to the freezing point depression as more solute particles that block the solvent particles to freeze; (5) when a solution boil, the solvent boiling first followed by its solute; (6) boiling point elevation occurs because the solution has more particles to be boiled rather than pure solvent; (7) concentration of the solution is proportional to the boiling point elevation because the solute particles need greater energy to collide so that the temperature needed in order to boil the solution is higher; (8) when osmosis occurs, initially the solvent moved in two direction (into pure solvent and also into solution) with the same rate migration but when the system reach the balance, solvent movement occurs only from pure solvent to the solution; and (9) colligative properties of electrolyte solution multiplied by van’t Hoff factor (i) while the colligative properties of non-electrolyte solution is not multiplied by a van’t Hoff factor (i).
