Abstract
Orangtua memiliki peran penting dalam proses pengasuhan dalam keluarga untuk mendukung perkembangan anak. Upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengasuhan telah dilakukan oleh PAUD Al-Ghifary salah satunya melalui program parenting. Melalui penelitian ini dikaji tentang pelibatan orang tua dalam program PAUD Al-Ghifary terutama pada aspek upaya yang dilakukan, bentuk pelibatan, serta dampaknya terhadap pengasuhan dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara dan observasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) upaya yang dilakukan oleh PAUD Al-Ghifary melibatkan orang tua secara sistematis dan struktur dalam program yang diadakan di lembaga PAUD. Upaya pelibatan tersebut dilakukan melalui adanya komunikasi yang efektif antara guru dan orang tua melalui berbagai media komunikasi, pertemuan rutin bulanan, serta sistem konsultasi yang fleksibel; 2) pelibatan orang tua dalam program parenting dilakukan dalam bentuk: a) kelas orang tua, b) pelibatan orang tua sebagai pendamping kelas, c) outing class, dan d) layanan konsultasi; dan 3) dampak pelibatan orang tua dalam program PAUD terhadap proses pengasuhan dalam keluarga, terjadinya perubahan pola asuh orang tua, serta adanya peningkatan kepercayaan diri anak dan perkembangan kemampuan sosial yang lebih baik. Parents have an important role in the parenting process in the family to support the development of children. Efforts to improve parenting knowledge and skills have been carried out by PAUD Al-Ghifary, one of which is through the parenting program. Through this study, the involvement of parents in the Al-Ghifary PAUD program is studied, especially in the aspects of efforts made, forms of involvement, and their impact on parenting in the family. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach by using interviews and observations as data collection tools. The results of the study show that: 1) the efforts made by PAUD Al-Ghifary involve parents systematically and structurally in the programs held in PAUD institutions. The involvement effort is carried out through effective communication between teachers and parents through various communication media, regular monthly meetings, and a flexible consultation system; 2) parental involvement in parenting programsis carried out in the form of: a) parent classes, b) parent involvement as class companions, c) outing classes, and d) consultation services; and 3) the impact of parental involvement in the PAUD program on the parenting process in the family, the occurrence of changes in parental parenting styles, as well as the increase in children's confidence and the development of better social skills.
