Abstract
Pendidikan menengah kejuruan bertujuan untuk menyiapkan lulusan agar siap
memasuki dunia kerja di bidangnya secara profesional. Faktor internal dan eksternal
mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja siswa, dengan self efficacy dan self confidence sebagai salah
satu faktor penting. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh self efficacy dan self confidence
terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa keahlian DPIB SMK Negeri Bandung. Identifikasi masalah
meliputi rendahnya keterserapan kerja siswa setelah lulus dari masa pembelajarannya.
Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 87 siswa sebagai sampel,
menggunakan teknik sampel stratifkasi. Data penguasaan self efficacy, self confidence, dan
kesiapan kerja diperoleh memlalui penilaian self assessment. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penguasaan self efficacy dan
self confidence siswa keahlian DPIB SMK Negeri Bandung berada pada kategori cukup
baik dengan nilai tingkat capaian responden sebesar 78,6% dan 79,1%. Terdapat hubungan
positif dan signifikan antara self efficacy dan self confidence terhadap kesiapan kerja (G =
48,952 > X_{(0,05;2)}^2\ = 5,99). Analisi regresi menunjukan peningkatan self efficacy
dan self confidence akan cenderung meningkatkan probabilitas kesiapan kerja sebesar 6,55
kali dan 12 kali lebih besar, dan pengaruh sebesar 55%. Maka ditemukan bahwa adanya
hubungan kuat dan signifikan antara self efficacy dan self confidence terhadap kesiapan
kerja siswa keahlian DPIB SMK Negeri Bandung. Memperbanyak program yang
mendukung kesiapan kerja siswa perlu agar meningkatkan self efficacy dan self confidence.
Vocational secondary education aims to prepare graduates to enter the workforce in their
respective fields professionally. Internal and external factors influence students' readiness
for work, with self-efficacy and self-confidence being among the important factors. This
study examines the influence of self-efficacy and self-confidence on the work readiness of
students specializing in Building Information Design (DPIB) at SMK Negeri Bandung. The
problem identified is the low employment rate of students after graduation. This research
is quantitative, involving 87 students as samples, using stratified sampling techniques. Data
on self-efficacy, self-confidence, and work readiness were obtained through self�assessment evaluations. The research method used is correlational. The results showed that
the self-efficacy and self-confidence of DPIB students at SMK Negeri Bandung were in
the fairly good category, with respondent achievement levels of 78.6% and 79.1%,
respectively. There is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and self�confidence with work readiness (G = 48,952 > X_{(0,05;2)}^2\ = 5,99). Regression
analysis indicates that an increase in self-efficacy and self-confidence is likely to increase
the probability of work readiness by 6.55 times and 12 times more, with an influence of
55%. Therefore, it was found that there is a strong and significant relationship between
self-efficacy and self-confidence and the work readiness of DPIB students at SMK Negeri
Bandung. Increasing programs that support students' work readiness is necessary to
enhance self-efficacy and self-confidence.
