Abstract
Permasalahan utama yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini meliputi kurangnya partisipasi aktif siswa yang berdampak pada pemahaman konsep dan mempengaruhi hasil belajar yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMK Bina Warga Bandung pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design di mana X MPLB 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MPLB 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa melalui implementasi Discovery Learning. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 44,35%. Dari hasil uji paired samples t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang menyatakan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis di SMK Bina Warga Bandung. The main issue examined in this study includes the lack of active student participation, which impacts conceptual understanding and results in suboptimal learning outcomes. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Discovery Learning model in improving the learning outcomes of Class X students at Bina Warga Bandung Vocational School in the subject of Office Management and Business Services Basics. The study uses a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, where X MPLB 1 serves as the experimental class and X MPLB 2 serves as the control class. The results show a significant improvement in student learning outcomes through the implementation of Discovery Learning. The average student learning outcomes increased by 44.35%. The paired samples t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Office Management and Business Services Basics at SMK Bina Warga Bandung.
