Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian, ditemukan permasalahan melemahnya karakter gotong royong di kalangan siswa. Untuk mengantisipasi masalah tersebut, sekolah melakukan upaya pengembangan karakter gotong royong melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang didukung oleh penguatan karakter dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya pembelajaran IPS. Pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran yang penting dalam mengembangkan karakter gotong royong, diantaranya melalui pengembangan kurikulum, materi ajar, guru, dan proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS dalam mendukung pelaksanaan P5 di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMPN 11 Cimahi telah melakukan berbagai kegiatan dan tema P5 yang beragam, diantaranya: (1) kampanye anti perundungan dan kekerasan; (2) pemilihan Ketua OSIS secara demokratis; dan (3) kegiatan melakukan penanaman degan sistem hidroponik; Terkait dengan perencanaan pembelajaran IPS yang turut mendukung pelaksanaan P5 adalah melalui proses analisis Capaian Pembelajaran, penyusunan Tujuan Pembelajaran dan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran, serta kegiatan inti pada modul ajar yang dapat meningkatkan karakter gotong royong siswa dalam P5. Terkait dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS, guru memilih materi aktivitas ekonomi yang relevan dengan P5 tema Kewirausahaan. Implementasi karakter gotong royong siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS memberikan dukungan positif terhadap pelaksanaan P5. Based on the results of pre-research, the problem of weakening the character of mutual cooperation among students was found. To anticipate the problem, the school makes efforts to develop the character of mutual cooperation through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) which is supported by strengthening character in learning, one of which is social studies learning. Social studies learning is important in developing mutual cooperation characters through curriculum development, teaching materials, teachers, and learning processes. The purpose of this research is to find out how the planning and implementation of social studies learning in supporting the implementation of P5 in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The result shows that SMPN 11 Cimahi has done many activities in different themes of P5, like: (1) an antibullying and violence campaign; (2) the democratic election of the student council chairman, and; (3) planting activities with the hydroponic system. In terms of lesson planning, social studies learning supports the implementation of P5 is through analyzing learning outcomes, setting up learning objectives and learning objective mapping, and designing core activities in teaching modules that can improve students' mutual cooperation character in P5. Related to the implementation of social studies learning, materials, teachers choose an economic activity theme relevant to the P5 theme of entrepreneurship. The implementation of students' mutual cooperation character in social studies learning provides positive support for the implementation of P5.
