    Abstract

    Dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya dalam kegiatan membaca pemahaman, diduga siswa belum melakukan kegiatan membaca pemahaman sebagaimana mestinya. Perlu adanya inovasi atau usaha lain yang sesuai untuk memperbaiki minat baca khususnya membaca pemahaman. Dengan menggunakan model maupun media pembelajaran yang membuat siswa terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan membaca pemahaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan media komik digital terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman cerita fiksi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperiment design dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 25 siswa pada kelas IV C maupun kelas IV D. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan media komik digital terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman cerita fiksi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebesar 21%. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan media komik digital berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman cerita fiksi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

    In the process of learning Indoneisan Language, especially in reading comprehension activities, it is suspected that students have not carried out reading comprehension activities as they should. There needs to be innovation or other appropriate efforts to improve reading interest, especially reading comprehension. This is done by using models and media that make students actively involved in reading comprehension activities. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by digital comic media on the reading comprehension skills of fiction stories on fourth graders at elementary scholl in learning Indonesian. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design research type with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample used in this research was twenty five students in fourth grade C and fourth grade D. The results obtained from the influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by digital comic media on the reading comprehension skills of fiction stories on fourth graders at elementary school in learning Indonesian were 21%. So it can be concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by digital comic media has an influence on the reading comprehension skills of fiction stories on fourth graders at elementary scholl in learning Indonesian.
