Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya siswa kelas III yang belum memahami konsep operasi hitung perkalian dikarenakan guru masih menggunakan bahan ajar saja dan terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan permasalah tersebut dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran papan roseli untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Proses penelitian ini diawali dengan analisis masalah, analisis materi, analisis pengguna, analisis perangkat lunak (software), dan analisis perangkat keras (hardware). Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan membuat media yang akan dikembangkan. Produk media pembelajaran yang dibuat kemudian divalidasi oleh para ahli dan mendapatkan nilai 96,4% dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk diimplementasikan, mendapatkan nilai 98,75% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk diimplementasikan, serta mendapatkan 93,75% dari praktisi pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk yang sudah divalidasi kemudian diuji coba kepada 27 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pre test dan post test, terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 48,15 menjadi 76,30 dan diperoleh nilai N-gain sebesar 0,54 sehingga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sekolah dasar setelah menggunakan media papan roseli. This research is motivated by the large number of class III students who do not understand the concept of multiplication calculation operations because teachers still only use teaching materials and the limited use of learning media used. This research aims to describe this problem by developing the roseli board learning media to improve elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests with quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The subjects of this research were third grade elementary school students. This research process begins with problem analysis, material analysis, user analysis, software analysis and hardware analysis. Then proceed with creating the media that will be developed. The learning media product that was created was then validated by experts and received a score of 96.4% from material experts in the category very good and suitable for implementation, received a score of 98.75% from media experts in the category very good and suitable for implementation, and received 93 .75% of learning practitioners are in the very good category. The validated product was then tested on 27 students. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the average score from 48.15 to 76.30 and an N-gain value of 0.54 was obtained, indicating that there was an increase in elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts after using the roseli board media.
