Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya penggunaan sumber belajar yang digunakan, pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan monoton, serta keterampilan membaca pemahaman terkait materi teks narasi pada siswa kelas IV SD yang belum optimal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks narasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Skala yang digunakan oleh peneliti untuk penilaian angket menggunakan skala likert yang terdiri dari 4 kategori yaitu sangat layak, layak, kurang layak, dan tidak layak. Hasil penilaian ahli validasi menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar digital teks narasi fiksi berada pada kategori sangat layak. Validator menyatakan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar teks narasi fiksi berada pada kategori sangat layak dengan beberapa perbaikan yang harus dilakukan, validator kedua termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan beberapa perbaikan yang harus dilakukan, dan validator ketiga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan pre-test dan post-test diperoleh data adanya peningkatan rata-rata dari yang sebelumnya 61,33 menjadi 86,40. Data tersebut juga didukung dengan hasil uji N-Gain 0,65 yang termasuk kategori sedang, artinya bahan ajar digital teks narasi fiksi cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada materi teks narasi di sekolah dasar.
This research was motivated by the limited use of learning resources used, learning that was less interesting and monotonous, and reading comprehension skills related to narrative text material in fourth grade elementary school students that were not yet optimal. Based on this, this research aims to improve students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian language subjects with narrative text material. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The research instruments used were observation, interviews, documentation studies, questionnaires and tests. The scale used by researchers for questionnaire assessment uses a Likert scale which consists of 4 categories, namely, very feasible, feasible, less feasible, and not feasible. The results of the expert validation assessment stated that digital teaching materials for fictional narrative texts were in the very appropriate category. Validator I stated that the development of fictional narrative text teaching materials was in the very feasible category with several improvements that must be made, the second validator was included in the very feasible category with several improvements that had to be made, and the third validator was included in the very feasible category. Apart from that, through pre-test and post-test activities data was obtained that there was an increase in the average from the previous 61.33 to 86.40. This data is also supported by the N-Gain test results of 0.65 which are in the medium category, meaning that digital teaching materials for fictional narrative texts are quite effective in improving reading comprehension skills in narrative text materials in elementary schools.
