Abstract
Media pembelajaran dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Media pembelajaran seperti google my maps dapat memberikan kesempatan bagi peserta didik untuk belajar secara interaktif, menarik, dan memperdalam pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pembelajaran. Namun, meskipun potensi media pembelajaran sangat besar, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penerapannya di berbagai lembaga pendidikan Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab naik atau turunnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan google my maps dalam pembelajaran geografi dapat memengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik dan bagaimana penggunaannya di dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan Non-Equivalent Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini diambil secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar kelas eksperimen, hal ini dibuktikan menggunakan uji N-Gain dengan hasil gain score sebesar 0,52. 2) Terdapat peningkatan pada hasil belajar kelas kontrol tetapi tidak signifikan. 3) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. 4) Penggunaan media pembelajaran google my maps dan storymaps mendapat tanggapan sangat positif dari peserta didik. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, google my maps, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT Learning media can affect the improvement of students' learning outcomes. Learning media such as google my maps can provide opportunities for students to learn interactively, interestingly, and deepen students' understanding of learning materials. However, despite the enormous potential of learning media, there are still challenges in its application in various educational institutions. This is one of the factors causing the increase or decrease in student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the extent to which the use of google my maps in geography learning can affect students' learning outcomes and how it is used in the learning process. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach. This research design is a pseudo experiment with Non-Equivalent Group Design. The sample of this research was taken by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that 1) There is a significant increase in the learning outcomes of the experimental class, this is evidenced using the N-Gain test with a gain score of 0.52. 2) There is an increase in the learning outcomes of the control class but not significant. 3) There is a difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, this is evidenced by the value of the experimental class learning outcomes higher than the control class. 4) The use of google my maps and storymaps learning media received very positive responses from students.
