Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan belum terpenuhinya fungsi mata pelajaran
kimia sebagai mata pelajaran dasar keahlian (adaptif) yang menunjang mata pelajaran
kejuruan (produktif). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan elemen
kurikulum kimia yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Konstruksi
Gedung, Sanitasi, dan Perawatan (KGSP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah
Research and Development (R&D) yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3 tahap penelitian oleh
Sukmadinata yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap review. Subjek
penelitian ini melibatkan 7 reviewers yaitu 2 dosen ahli pendidikan kimia, 2 guru kimia
SMK, dan 3 guru produktif SMK Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP. Instrumen penelitian
berupa format review kompetensi dasar, konten kimia, dimensi pengetahuan, desain
pembelajaran, dan desain evaluasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif
berdasarkan kecenderungan yang dinyatakan oleh reviewers. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa elemen kurikulum kimia yang dihasilkan memiliki kesesuaian yang
baik terhadap kebutuhan SMK Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu,
kompetensi dasar kimia yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan SMK Kompetensi Keahlian
KGSP meliputi kemampuan berpikir (kognitif) level mengidentifikasi, menjelaskan,
menganalisis, dan mengajukan ide/gagasan dengan jumlah kompetensi dasar kimia
sebanyak 11. Konten kimia yang sesuai terdiri dari sifat fisis dan sifat kimia
(karakteristik bahan kimia, MSDS), senyawa makromolekul pada bahan
bangunan, sifat zat polimer, korosi dan pencegahannya, konsep campuran dan zat
tunggal (unsur dan senyawa), sifat dan jenis-jenis logam pada bahan bangunan,
APAR, proses reaksi kimia pada pembuatan bahan bangunan, senyawa
hidrokarbon pada refrigerant, sifat dan jenis non-logam, karakteristik air. Dimensi
pengetahuan faktual, konseptual, prosedural, dan metakognitif diorientasikan pada
pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan KGSP. Desain pembelajaran dirumuskan
berdasarkan variasi strategi pembelajaran yang meliputi model pembelajaran seperti
Kontesktual, PjBL, jigsaw, dan PBL, kemudian pendekatan serta metode pembelajaran;
variasi tempat belajar seperti di kelas, rumah, atau laboratorium; variasi pengalaman
belajar dalam diskusi kelompok serta penerapan konten kimia dalam magang industri.
Desain evaluasi terdiri dari penilaian sikap, penilaian pengetahuan, dan penilaian
keterampilan dengan teknik penilaian berupa pengamatan, tes tulis, dan unjuk kerja.
This research is based on the problem of the unfulfilled function of chemistry subjects as
basic skills (adaptive) subjects that support vocational (productive) subjects. This
research aims to produce chemistry curriculum elements that suit the needs of the
Building Construction, Sanitation and Maintenance Skills Competency Vocational School
(KGSP). The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which was
modified into 3 research stages by Sukmadinata, namely the planning stage, development
stage and review stage. The subjects of this research involved 7 reviewers, namely 2
chemical education expert lecturers, 2 vocational school chemistry teachers, and 3
productive KGSP Skills Competency vocational school teachers. The research instrument
is a basic competency review format, chemistry content, knowledge dimensions, learning
design, and evaluation design. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively
based on trends stated by reviewers. The results of the research show that the resulting
chemistry curriculum elements are in good accordance with the needs of the KGSP Skills
Competency Vocational School. The results obtained are, basic chemical competencies
that are in accordance with the needs of SMK. KGSP Skills Competencies include the
ability to think (cognitive) at the level of identifying, explaining, analyzing and proposing
ideas/ideas with a total of 11 basic chemical competencies. Appropriate chemical content
consists of physical properties and chemical properties (chemical characteristics,
MSDS), macromolecular compounds in building materials, properties of polymeric
substances, corrosion and its prevention, the concept of mixtures and single substances
(elements and compounds), properties and types of metals in building materials, APAR,
reaction processes chemistry in the manufacture of building materials, hydrocarbon
compounds in refrigerants, properties and types of non-metals, characteristics of water.
The dimensions of factual, conceptual, procedural and metacognitive knowledge are
oriented towards knowledge related to KGSP. Learning designs are formulated based on
a variety of learning strategies which include learning models such as contextual, PjBL,
jigsaw, and PBL, then learning approaches and methods; variations in learning places
such as in the classroom, home, or laboratory; variations in learning experiences in
group discussions as well as the application of chemistry content in industrial
internships. The evaluation design consists of attitude assessment, knowledge assessment,
and skills assessment with assessment techniques in the form of observation, written tests,
and performance.
