Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Hal tersebut menyebabkan kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik dan kurang terfasilitasinya keragaman gaya belajar peserta didik. Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial cenderung memiliki materi yang abstrak (tidak konkrit) sehingga memerlukan media pembelajaran yang multimodal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google sites yang berkaitan dengan mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial khususnya pada materi kegiatan ekonomi dan pengaruhnya dalam kehidupan masyarakat di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dilakukan melalui lima tahap yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Hasil uji kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google sites mendapatkan interpretasi “Sangat Layak” dari ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa. Hasil penilaian respon pengguna yakni guru dan peserta didik kelas V SD terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google sites mendapatkan interpretasi “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial berdasarkan aspek isi, aspek kebahasaan dan aspek kualitas teknis. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google sites layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kegiatan ekonomi dan pengaruhnya dalam kehidupan masyarakat pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Media pembelajaran ini membantu guru dalam mengemas materi menjadi lebih konkrit, menarik dan dapat memfasilitasi keragaman gaya belajar peserta didik. Bagi peserta didik media ini sangat menarik, dapat diakses dimana saja dan membantu dalam memahami materi sehingga meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. ------- The research was motivated by the low use of digital-based learning media in the subject of Social Studies. This causes a lack of motivation to learn and a lack of diversity in learning styles. The subject of Social Studies tends to have abstract (non-concrete) material, so it requires multimodal learning media. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Google sites related to the subject of Social Studies, especially on the material of economic activities and their impact on community life in class V elementary school. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) method with the ADDIE model which is carried out through five stages, namely Analysis (Analysis), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation).The results of the feasibility test of interactive learning media based on Google sites received the interpretation of "very feasible" from material experts, media experts, and language experts. The results of the assessment of user responses, namely elementary school teachers and class V students, on the use of interactive learning media based on Google sites received the interpretation of "Very feasible" to be used in IPS learning based on content aspects, language aspects, and technical quality aspects. Based on the data obtained, interactive learning media based on Google sites are suitable for use in learning economic activities and their impact on community life in Social Studies learning. This learning media helps teachers in packaging the material to be more concrete, interesting, and can facilitate the diversity of learning styles of students. For students, this media is very interesting, can be accessed anywhere, and helps in understanding the material so as to increase student learning motivation.
