Abstract

Perspektif sebagian masyarakat Indonesia khususnya orang tua mengenai pendidikan seksual untuk diterapkan pada anak usia dini masih menjadi hal yang tabu untuk dibahas. Pada penelitian ini pemahaman orang tua mengenai pentingnya pendidikan seksual sejak anak usia dini menjadi fokus yang penting untuk mengatasi perspektif masyarakat pada saat ini. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi fenomenologi. Proses pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini meliputi, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dari penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat diuraikan dalam empat tema berdasarkan hasil Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), antara lain perspektif orang tua dalam pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini, implementasi pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini, manfaat pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini dan hambatan penerapan pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini. Dalam perspektif orang tua terhadap penerapan pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini di wilayah Cibogo RT 01 kota Bandung, ditemukan bahwa orang tua menganggap pendidikan seksual sebagai langkah pencegahan yang sangat penting dalam mencegah kemungkinan kekerasan seksual atau penyalahgunaan seksualitas di masa depan. Pada proses implementasi pendidikan seksual bagi anak usia dini, dimulai pada saat anak mulai mampu memahami instruksi terutama ketika anak mulai dapat berbicara.

The perspective of some Indonesian people, especially parents, regarding sexual education to be applied to early childhood is still a taboo subject to discuss. In this research, parent’s understanding of the importance of sexual education from an early age becomes an important focus to address current societal perspectives. The method used uses a qualitative descriptive method using a phenomenological study approach. The data collection process for this research includes observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique for this research uses the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique. The results of this research can be described in four themes based on the results of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), including parent’s perspectives on sexual education for early childhood, implementation of sexual education for early childhood, benefits of sexual education for early childhood and barriers to implementing education. sexy for young children. In the parent’s perspective regarding the implementation of sexual education for early childhood in the Cibogo RT 01 Bandung City area, it was found that parents considered sexual education as a very important preventive measure in preventing the possibility of sexual violence or protecting sexuality in the future. The process of implementing education for early childhood begins when the child begins to be able to understand instructions, especially when the child begins to be able to speak.
