Abstract
Salah satu nilai Pendidikan Karakter di Indonesia adalah pendidikan karakter nilai sosial emosional yang di dalamnya termasuk membiasakan disiplin kepada anak sejak usia dini. Tetapi melihat kenyataan yang terjadi, pengenalan disiplin pada anak masih belum di stimulus dengan baik. Salah satu permasalahannya masih banyak yang menganggap bahwa budaya menggunakan kekerasan akan membuat anak kuat dalam psikisnya namun kekerasan yang dialami oleh anak akan berpengaruh terhadap psikologisnya secara berkepanjangan, termasuk literasi kritis nya tidak dapat terstimulus dengan baik. Pembiasaan disiplin di dalam pembelajaran juga seharusnya tidak hanya berupa percakapan lisan antara guru dan anak, melainkan dapat memberikan kegiatan berupa permainan atau menggunakan media yang membantu anak untuk lebih mengenalkan perilaku disiplin dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti bermaksud mengembangkan media pengenalan disiplin dan mendorong critical literacy pada anak melalui media busy sticker book yang merupakan media buku cerita interaktif dengan desain yang menarik dilengkapi kegiatan interaktif stiker. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode EDR yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan perseta didik. Proses pengumpulan data penelitian meliputi wawancara, prototipe desain, rating scale, dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian diproses secara kuantitatif melalui presentase rating scale dan kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil akhir yang didapatkan yaitu berupa prototipe media busy sticker book sebagai media stimulasi pengenalan disiplin dan critical literacy pada anak yang telah teruji validasi kelayakannya dan telah sesuai dengan karakteristik media pembelajaran anak. -------- One of the value of character education in Indonesia is the education of social emotional character, which includes familiarizing discipline to children since early age. However, based at the reality, the introduction of discipline in children has not been well stimulated. One of the problems is many still think that the culture of using violence will make children psychologically strong, in fact the violence experienced by children will affect their psychology for a long time, as well as making their critical literacy cannot be stimulated properly. Discipline habituation in learning should also not only in the form of verbal conversations between teachers and children, but can provide activities in the form of games or media-used that helps children to better introduce disciplinary behaviour in a fun and interesting way. Based on the phenomena above, the researcher intends to develop media for introducing discipline and encouraging critical literacy in children through busy sticker book media which is an interactive storybook with an attractive design equipped with interactive sticker activities. This research uses the EDR method involving principals, teachers, and students. The research’s data collection process includes interviews, design prototypes, rating scales, and documentation. The data collected was then processed quantitatively through rating scale percentage and qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation to conclusion drawing. The final result obtained is in the form of a busy sticker book media prototype as a media for stimulating the introduction of discipline and critical literacy in children that has been tested for feasibility validation and is in accordance with the characteristics of children's learning media.
