Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar adalah gaya belajar. Pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang disukai mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kinerja diri. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, rata-rata siswa belum memahami gaya belajar yang dimilikinya. Guru disekolah juga belum mengetahui secara keseluruhan gaya belajar siswanya, sehingga dalam pembelajaran guru kurang mengakomodasi gaya belajar siswa yang dapat mempengaruhi hasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai profil gaya belajar siswa, serta hubungan gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa pada materi usaha dan energi. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 65 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dirancang berdasarkan gaya belajar menurut Fleming (VARK) dan instrumen soal materi usaha dan energi. Hasil penelitian mengenai hubungan gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa sebagai berikut: (1) Gaya belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan yaitu cenderung gaya belajar Visual persentasenya sebesar 24,61%, gaya belajar Auditory 23,08%, gaya belajar Reading/writing 9,23%, gaya belajar Kinestetik persentasenya sebesar 4,62%, dan gaya belajar multimodal 38,46%. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecenderungan gaya belajar siswa adalah gaya belajar multimodal (lebih dari 1 gaya belajar). (2) Tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif antara gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan pada materi usaha dan energi. Dilihat dari hasil uji korelasi secara keseluruhan didapatkan p-value>0,05 yaitu 0,774>0,05 dengan nilai korelasi 0,036 yang termasuk dalam kategori korelasi rendah. One of the factors that can affect learning outcomes is learning styles. Learning in accordance with the preferred learning style can improve learning outcomes and self-performance. Based on preliminary studies, on average students do not understand their learning styles. Teachers at school also do not know the overall learning styles of their students, so that in learning teachers do not accommodate student learning styles that can affect learning outcomes. This study aims to obtain information about the profile of student learning styles, as well as the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes in the subject matter of effort and energy. The research method used is a survey method with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan. The study population was students of class XI MIPA with a research sample of 65 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was designed based on Fleming's learning style (VARK) and the instrument on business and energy materials. The results of the study regarding the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes are as follows: (1) The learning styles of class XI SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan students tend to be Visual learning styles, the percentage is 24.61%, Auditory learning styles 23.08%, Reading/writing learning styles 9.23%, the percentage of kinesthetic learning styles is 4.62%, and multimodal learning styles are 38.46%. So it can be concluded that the tendency of student learning styles is multimodal learning styles (more than 1 learning style). (2) There is no positive relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes of class XI SMAN 1 Kadugede Kuningan on business and energy materials. Judging from the overall correlation test results obtained p-value> 0.05, namely 0.774> 0.05 with a correlation value of 0.036 which is included in the low correlation category.
