Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah pentingnya menanamkan nilai karakter sejak dini kepada siswa kelas 2 sekolah dasar. Judul penelitian ini diambil karena peneliti ingin mengidentifikasi kandungan nilai-nilai karakter pada teks cerita dongeng fabel yang terdapat dalam buku siswa tema 7 Kebersamaan kelas 2 SD berdasarkan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) sebagai upaya untuk membangun perkembangan siswa dalam pendidikan yang diterapkan oleh Kemendikbud (2017). Bertepatan dengan itu, yang peneliti alami pada saat melakukan PPL terlihat pada pembelajaran mengenai fabel siswa memiliki semangat belajar dan antusiasme yang tinggi karena dapat belajar sambil bermain peran dan secara tidak langsung siswa dapat mengambil pesan moral dalam fabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian analisis isi. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu buku tematik siswa tema 7 Kebersamaan kelas 2 SD. Instrumen yang digunakan berdasarkan indikator yang terdapat dalam PPK yang diterapkan oleh Kemendikbud (2017). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fabel yang terdapat dalam buku tematik siswa tema 7 kebersamaan kelas 2 SD mengandung nilai karakter sesuai dengan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) berdasarkan Kemendikbud (2017). Nilai karakter yang ditemukan yaitu nilai karakter religius, nasionalis, integritas, mandiri, gotong royong. Ke lima nilai karakter tersebut memiliki subnilai karakter sebanyak 20. Dari 20 subnilai berdasarkan 5 nilai karakter tersebut, ada sembilan subnilai yang tidak terkandung dalam dongeng pada buku tematik siswa tema 7 yaitu subnilai toleransi, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, semangat kebangsaan, kerja keras, disiplin, berani, pembelajar, dan kerja sama. Lalu pada hasil analisis kesesuaian bahwa nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam fabel sudah sesuai dengan buku siswa tema 7 kebersamaan kelas 2 sekolah dasar. ----- This research is motivated by the problem of the importance of instilling character values from an early age in grade 2 elementary school students. The title of this research was taken because the researcher wanted to identify the content of character values in the text of fable fairy tales contained in the student book theme 7 Togetherness class 2 SD based on Strengthening Character Education (PPK)as an effort to build student development in education implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture (2017). Coinciding with that, what researchers experienced when doing PPL was seen in learning about fables, students had a high enthusiasm for learning and enthusiasm because they could learn while playing roles and indirectly students could take moral messages in the fable. This research uses qualitative research methods with content analysis research design. The data source used was the thematic book of the 7th grade students' theme of class 2 SD. The instruments used are based on the indicators contained in the PPK implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture (2017). The results showed that the fables contained in the thematic books of students with the theme of 7 togetherness class 2 SD contain character values according to the Strengthening of Character Education (PPK) based on the Ministry of Education and Culture (2017). The character values found were religious, nationalist, integrity, independent, mutual cooperation. The five character values have as many as 20 character sub-scores. Of the 20 sub-values based on the 5 character values, there are nine sub-values that are not contained in the fairy tales in the student theme book 7, namely the sub-values of tolerance, love for the environment, love for the country, national spirit, hard work. , disciplined, brave, learner, and teamwork. Then on the results of the suitability analysis that the character values contained in the fable are in accordance with the student book theme 7 togetherness class 2 elementary school.
