Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan perkembangan berbicara anak usia 4 – 5 tahun serta mengetahui proses pembelajaran di PAUD menggunakan media pembelajaran Buku Cerita Bergambar pada kelompok A di TK Al – Mustaqim Kecamatan Cikarang Utara Tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak empat siklus, setiap Siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dan sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A TK Al – Mustaqim Kecamatan Cikarang Utara. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan adanya perkembangan terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak pada setiap tindakannya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil tahap observasi awal, kemampuan berbicara anak pada umumnya berada pada kategori Belum Berkembang (BB) sebanyak 81,82%, kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB) sebanyak 18,18%. Masih belum muncul anak yang mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Namun setelah dilakukan pembelajaran melalui metode cerita menggunakan buku cerita bergambar mengalami peningkatan pada kemampuan berbicara anak, dimana anak sudah mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) sebanyak 27,27% dan apda kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) sebanyak 72,73%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas melalui metode cerita menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara anak kelas A di TK Al – Mustaqim Kecamatan Cikarang Utara Kata kunci: Metode Cerita, Media Buku Cerita Bergambar dan Kemampuan Berbicara.
