Abstract

Disiplin belajar memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan belajar peserta didik. Jika perilaku disiplin tidak diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar peserta didik akan berdampak buruk bagi perkembangan perilaku peserta didik di masa kini dan di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh rumusan program bimbingan akademik untuk peningkatan disiplin belajar peserta didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 berdasarkan gambaran umum disiplin belajar peserta didik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Alat pengungkap data yang digunakan adalah angket disiplin belajar peserta didik yang dinyatakan layak oleh pakar bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil penelitian berupa: (1) Gambaran umum disiplin belajar peserta didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 berada pada kategori sedang; (2) gambaran disiplin belajar peserta didik dijadikan dasar dalam penyusunan program bimbingan akademik untuk peningkatan disiplin belajar peserta didik yang telah diuji kelayakan nya oleh pakar dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Program bimbingan akademik difokuskan pada layanan dasar, yaitu bimbingan klasikal untuk peserta didik dengan disiplin belajar pada kategori sedang dan bimbingan kelompok untuk peserta didik dengan disiplin pada kategori rendah. Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat mengaplikasikan program bimbingan akademik yang telah dirumuskan agar disiplin belajar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan rumusan program bimbingan akademik dan dapat menguji coba program hipotetik yang tersusun di dalam penelitian ;---Learning discipline has a very important role in the learning activities of students. If discipline behavior is not applied in the teaching and learning process, students will have a bad impact on the development of students' behavior in the present and in the future. The purpose of the study was to obtain a formulation of academic guidance programs to improve the learning discipline of students in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Bandung Academic Year 2016-2017 based on the general description of students' learning discipline. The research approach used is quantitative with descriptive methods. The data disclosure tool used is the learning discipline questionnaire of students who are declared eligible by expert guidance and counseling. The results of the research are: (1) The general description of the learning discipline of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandung 2016-2017 Academic Year is in the medium category; (2) the description of the learning discipline of students is used as the basis for the preparation of academic guidance programs to improve the learning discipline of students who have been tested for their feasibility by experts and practitioners of guidance and counseling. Academic guidance programs are focused on basic services, namely classical guidance for students with the discipline of learning in the medium category and group guidance for students with discipline in the low category. Guidance and Counseling Teachers can apply academic guidance programs that have been formulated so that learning discipline can develop optimally. For further researchers it is recommended to develop a formulation of academic guidance programs and be able to test hypothetical programs arranged in the study.
