Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan kerja sama siswa di kelas IV SDN SKJ Bandung. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada kegiatan pembelajaran sebelumnya pembagian kelompok tidak heterogen dan pembelajaran berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart. Tindakan penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN SKJ sebanyak 39 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar observasi keterampilan kerja sama siswa, catatan lapangan, dan lembar kuis individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa di kelas meningkat dari 64% pada siklus I menjadi 87% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SDN SKJ Bandung.;---This research is based on the lack of cooperative skill from fourth grader student in SDN SKJ Bandung. This is due to the previous learning the divisions of the group is not heterogenous and teacher centered learning. This research is aimed to describe the implementation of cooperative learning student team achievement divisions type to improve fourth grader student cooperative skill. The method in this research is using Kemmis and Taggart model which is consist of four step that is planning, action, observation and reflection. Subject of this research is 39 fourth grader student of SDN SKJ. The instrument which is used in this research are student and teachers activities observation sheet, cooperative skill observation sheet, field notes and individual worksheet. The result of this research showed the students cooperative skill score from 64% at the first cycle increase to 87% at the second cycle. As the result, the implementation of cooperative learning student teams achievement divisions type can improve fourth grader students cooperative skill.
