    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung Wilayah Barat pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang dilihat dari nilai rata-rata UAS semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017/2018 belum mencapai KKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian adalah 302 siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung Wilayah Barat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh 172 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (i) Kecerdasan emosional berada pada kategori tinggi, minat belajar berada pada kategori rendah sedangkan hasil belajar siswa berada diatas krieria ketuntasan minimal (KKM); (ii) Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar; (iii) minat belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. ..... The aims of research were to know the influence of Emotional Intelligence and Learning Interest towards learning outcomes on economics subject. This research background by the student learning outcomes of Class XI IPS in public senior high school in west region of Bandung City on economic subject seen from the average of UAS in the first semester academic years 2017/2018 has not reached KKM. The research method that used is an explanatory survey. The population of this research was 302 students of XI grade IPS students of publics senior high school in West Region of Bandung City that were selected using simple random sampling technique so that obtainable 172 students as sampling in research. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear analyses. The result show that : (i) emotional intelligence were in the high category , learning interest were in the low category, while the learning outcomes were in the upper of KKM , (ii) emotional intelligence has a positive influence towards learning outcomes; (iii) learning interest has a positive influence towards learning outcomes.
