Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa. Hasil menulis tegak bersambung siswa masih kurang jelas menulis huruf apa, jarak antar kata masih ada yang menyatu, serta menulis huruf dan menulis kata belum sejajar. Faktor penyebabnya yaitu guru belum menggunakan metode MMP, orangtua yang menyerahkan sepenuhnya keterampilan menulis dilatih di sekolah dan beberapa siswa kemampuan motorik dan daya ingatnya rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode SAS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa kelas II sekolah dasar di kota Bandung, dengan jumlah siswa 28 siswa dan dilaksanakan sejak Februari sampai April 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengadaptasi desain Kemmis dan Tagart yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan siswa, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Data kualitatif tentang RPP dan pembelajaran dianalisis dengan menerapkan prosedur reduksi data. Sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II.;--This research is motivated by the low writing skills of students' continuous upright. The results of writing up straight together students are still not clear what writing letters, the distance between words is still united, and writing letters and writing words is not parallel. The contributing factor is that the teacher has not used the MMP method, parents who submit fully writing skills are trained in school and some students have low motor skills and memory. This study aims to describe the application of the SAS method to improve the continuous upright writing skills of grade II elementary school students in the city of Bandung, with a total of 28 students and carried out from February to April 2018. The research method used was classroom action research methods that adapted the Kemmis design and Tagart is carried out in two cycles with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The instruments used in this study are observation sheets of teacher and student activities, field notes and documentation. Qualitative data on RPP and learning are analyzed by applying data reduction procedures. While quantitative data is analyzed using percentages. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II.
