Abstract
Sebagai non-Arab, membaca huruf Arab tidak semudah membaca huruf Indonesia. Karena setiap bahasa memiliki fonem yang berbeda, seperti yang peneliti temukan di SMP Miftahul Iman, kebanyakan siswa keliru dalam menyebutkan setiap huruf-hurufnya, dan hal tersebut akan berdampak pada kekeliruan maknanya pula. Sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pelafalan fonem siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesalahan siswa dalam membaca teks bahasa Arab, serta mengetahui faktor penyebab dan solusinya. Data pada penelitian ini berupa tes pelafalan disertai hasil wawancara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan rekam. Subjek penelitian ini 6 siswa kelas VIII. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan fonem yang dilakukan siswa adalah 1) Dalam melafalkan fonem huruf hijaiyah, terjadi kesalahan pada huruf (ث), (خ), (ذ), (ز), (س), (ش), (ظ), ( ف), (ه). 2) Dalam melafalkan bunyi vokal, terjadi kesalahan pada kata (هَذَا), ( خَالِدٌ), (هُوَ), ( طَالِبٌ), (صَدِيْقٌ), (نَشِيْطٌ), (بَيْتِهِ), (الدِّيْنِيَّةِ), (يَرْجِعُ), (يَذْهَبُ), (يَقْرَأُ). 3) Dalam melafalkan konsonan, terjadi kesalahan pada kata (هَذَا), ( خَالِدٌ), (صَدِيْقٌ), ( طَالِبٌ), (نَشِيْطٌ) , (يَرْجِعُ), (الظُّهْرِ), (يَذْهَبُ), (كَثِيْرًا), (لِلْقِرَاءَةِ), (بَعْضِ), (يَقْرَأُ), (مُجِدُّ),(مَكْتَبَةِ), (المَدْرَسَةِ), (اِلَى). Adapun faktor penyebabnya yaitu karakter bahasa Arab yang berbeda dengan bahasa Indonesia; lingkungan; faktor psikologis; faktor guru; bahasa Arab merupakan pelajaran baru bagi siswa; kurangnya latihan; serta sarana dan prasana yang tidak memadai; Reading Arabic texts for non native speaker is not as easy as reading Indonesia texts. Because every language has different phonemes. As the researchers at Miftahul Iman Middle School found in pronouncing of Arabic phonemes, students were mostly mistaken in mentioning each letters, and this would have an impact on their mistaken meanings as well. So researcher interested on doing study about pronounciation of students phoneme. The purpose of this study is to review students faults in reciting arabic text and to know the proper causes also the solutions for the problem. The data in this study is a pronounciations test of hijaiyah letters and the Arabic text along with the result of interview. Data collection is done by using listening methods and recording technique. The subjects of this study is 6 students of 8th grade in Miftahul Iman Middle School, Bandung. The results of the study concluded that the phoneme errors made by students were 1) On pronouncing the hijaiyah phonemes, an error occurred in letters (ث), (خ), (ذ), (ز), (س), (ش), (ظ), (ف), (ه). 2) On reciting vowels, an error occurs, namely the sound of words (هَذَا), (خَالِدٌ), (هُوَ), (طَالِبٌ), (صَدِيْقٌ), (نَشِيْطٌ), (بَيْتِهِ), (الدِّيْنِيَّةِ), (يَرْجِعُ), (يَرْجِعُ), ( يَذْهَبُ), (يَقْرَأُ). 3) On pronouncing the consonants contained in the words (هَذَا), (خَالِدٌ), (صَدِيْقٌ), (طَالِبٌ), (نَشِيْطٌ), (يَرْجِعُ), (الظُّهْرِ), (يَذْهَبُ), (كَثِيْرًا), (لِلْقًا), (لِلْقِرَاءَةِ), ( بَعْضِ), (يَقْرَأُ), (مُجِدُّ), (مَكْتَبَةِ), (المَدْرَسَةِ), (اِلَى). The contributing factors are the differences of Arabic characters and Indonesian, environment; psychological factors; teacher factors; Arabic is a new lesson for students; lack of training or practice also inadequate facilities and infrastructures.
