Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh implementasi PLC mikro berbasis arduino dan PLC Hollias dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik inferensial dan model penelitian Compare Two Unpaired Groups dengan menggunakan statistik nonparametrik dalam pengolahan datanya, yaitu uji Mann Whitney. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI-MEKA B dan XI-MEKA D Paket Keahlian Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi, masing-masing sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan PLC mikro berbasis arduino dan PLC Hollias dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, masing-masing sebesar 25,71% dan 21% atau terdapat perbedaan sebesar 7,39%. Pada ranah afektif tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata yang signifikan. Adapun pada ranah psikomotor terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,58% antara penggunaan kedua media pembelajaran tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran PLC mikro berbasis arduino lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan penggunaan media PLC Hollias. Hasil tersebut didukung oleh respon siswa, yaitu sebesar 73,3% memberikan respon positif terhadap media pembelajaran PLC mikro berbasis arduino. ..... This study aims to determine the differences effect of arduino-based micro PLC and PLC Hollias learning media implementations in the increase of student learning outcomes. The quantitative approach was used with inferential statistical analysis and Compare Two Unpaired Groups research model using nonparametric statistics in data processing, namely Mann Whitney test. The subjects of the study were the XI-MEKA B and XI-MEKA D students of the Mechatronics Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi, as an experimental class and control class, respectively. The results showed that the application of arduino-based micro PLC and Hollias PLC can increase student learning outcomes, i.e. 25.71% and 21%, respectively or 7.39% of difference in the cognitive domain. Meanwhile, in the affective domain there was no significant difference in average scores. Moreover, for the psychomotor domain there is an average difference of 3.58% between the two learning media implementation. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning media of arduino-based micro PLC is more effective compare to Hollias PLC media in increasing student learning outcomes. These results are supported by a positive response of students in the amount of 73.3% to arduino-based micro PLC learning media.
