Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar
siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning
di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian
tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilakukan
sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-A SDN C
Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 sejumlah 25 siswa. Data
dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar yang
dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan
kualitatif. Data penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas
belajar siswa, terlihat dari nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar pra penelitian
sebesar 44 dengan kategori cukup, meningkat menjadi 83 dengan kategori
sangat aktif pada siklus I, dan meningkat menjadi 96 dengan kategori
sangat aktif pada siklus II. Kemudian data peningkatan hasil belajar
diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 42 dengan kategori kurang pada pra
penelitian, meningkat menjadi 74 dengan kategori cukup pada siklus I,
dan meningkat menjadi 86 dengan kategori sangat baik pada siklus II.
Berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal, pada pra
peneltiian diperoleh persentase sebesar 20%, meningkat menjadi 68%
pada siklus I, dan meningkat menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Dengan
demikian, penerapan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan
hasil belajar siswa kelas V-A SDN C Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran
2017/2018.;--This research aims to improve students’ learnng activites and
learning outcomes through the implementation of CTL approach.
This research method is classroom action research type Kemmis and
Mc Taggart and conducted in two cycles. The subjects of research
were 25 students in V-A SDN C Kota Bandung of 2017/2018. The
data were collected through the learning activities observation and
learning outcomes test. Data were collected using quantitative and
qualitative descriptive statistical analysis method. The analysis
indicates that there is an increase in student learning activites. On
pre research, the average of learning activities reach 44 in less
category. It also increase become 83 on cycle I in very active
category, and increase become 96 on cycle II. An increase also
occured in learning outcomes. On pre research, the average of
learning outcomes reach 42 in less category. It also increase
become 74 on cycle I in good category, and increase become 86 on
cycle II in very good category. Based on percentage of completeness
learning outcomes, on pre research 20%, increase become 68%, and
increase become 88%. It is concluded that the CTL approach can
improve the fifth grade students’ learning activities and learning
outcomes.
