MEDIA KARAOKE BAHASA JEPANG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA HURUF HIRAGANA : Studi Eksperimen Terhadap Siswa Kelas X Sma Labschool Upi Tahun Ajaran 2018-2019

    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti bagaimana pengaruh penerapan media karaoke bahasa Jepang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hiragana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “Experiment murni” dengan desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah “Pretest-Posttest control group Design”. Sampel atau sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 4 dan X IPS 3 SMA labschool UPI Bandung tahun ajaran 2018-2019 berjumlah 40 orang dengan menggunakan random sampling. Kelas X MIPA 4 melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Jepang dengan menggunakan media karaoke bahasa Jepang selama enam kali dan kelas X IPS 3 menggunaka pembelajaran konvensional (metode ceramah　dan buku ajar “kira-kira”) sebanyak enam kali. Penggumpulan data menggunakan pretest, posttest dan angket. Untuk membantu peningkatan kemampuan membaca huruf hiragana, media ini telah diujicobakan pada peserta didik dan telah menunjukan hasil positif. Nilai rata-rata pretest pada kelas kontrol sebesar 16 dan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 14,75, maka hasil t-hitung -0.50. Sedang pada hasil post-test mendapat hasil yang signifikan. Nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 43 dan pada kelas ekperimen adalah 75, maka diperoleh nilai t-hitung 13.11. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari perbandingan hasil nilai rata-rata pretest dan post-test,dimana pada pretest diperoleh nilai t-hitung -0.50 hipotesa nol (H0)= tidak terdapat perbedaan yang singnifikan. Dan pada post-test diperoleh nilai t-hitung 13.11 hipotesa kerja (Hk) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, t-tabel 2,02 = 5% dan 2,71 = 1% pada nilai db= 39. Berdasarkan dari hasil angket, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa media karaoke bahasa Jepang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hiragana. Secara garis besar hasil angket dapat diketahui media karaoke bahasa Jepang mendapat respon yang positif.

    The purpose of this study was to examine how the influence of the application of Japanese Language Karaoke to Improve the Ability to Read Hiragana Letters.This study uses the method "pure Experiment" with the experimental design used is "Pretest-Posttest control group Design". Samples or data sources of this study were students of class X of Mathematics and Natural Sciences 4 and X 3 of Labschool High School UPI Bandung in the academic year 2018-2019) which numbered 40 people using random sampling. Class X MIPA 4 conducts Japanese language learning activities using Japanese karaoke media for 6 meetings and X IPS 3 class using conventional learning (lecture method and method of explaining directly from the book nihonggo approximately) for 6 meetings. Carry out the pretest and posttest and distribute the questionnaire. This research application uses the help of projectors and speakers.In helping to improve the ability to read hiragana letters, this media has been tested on students and has shown positive results. Where the average value of the pretest in the control class is 16 and in the experimental class 14.75, the result of t-count is -0.50. While the results of the post-test received significant results. The average of the control class 43 and in the experimental class is found to be an average value of 75, then the t-value is obtained 13.11. It can be seen from the comparison of the results of the average pretest and post-test, where at the pretest the t-value of -0.50 is obtained as a null hypothesis (H0) = there is no significant difference. And in the post-test obtained t-value of 13.11 work hypothesis (Hk) there is a significant difference, t-table 2.02 = 5% and 2.71 = 1% at db value = 39. Based on the results of the questionnaire, researchers can concluded that Japanese karaoke media can improve the ability to read hiragana letters. Broadly speaking, the results of the questionnaire can be known that Japanese karaoke media received a positive response.
