Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan keefektifan dan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Complete Sentence berbantuan media audiovisual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak berita pada siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group pretest – posttest design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 kota Cimahi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA dan siswa kelas VG tahun pelajaran 2016 – 2017 yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa observasi dan wawancara. Data yang doperoleh dari pretest dan posttest kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 23 dengan tahap Uji Normalitas (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) dan Uji Hipotesis (Uji Mann – Whitney). Hasil penelitian diperoleh pertama, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan meyimak berita pada siswa kelas V sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran complete sentence berbantuan media audiovisual. Kedua, proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Complete Sentence berbantuan media audio – visual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak berita siswa kelas V SD dilakukan dengan tahapan pra simak, saat menyimak, dan pasca menyimak. Berdasarkan simpulan dari hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan pada bagian sebelumnya, terdapat implikasi terkait penelitian ini yaitu: Pembelajaran menyimak berita dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran complete sentence berbantuan media audiovisual lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran yang dipakai oleh guru. ---- This study aims to reveal the effectiveness and learning process by using learning model of audiovisual aids-supported Complete Sentence in improving the ability to listen to the news on the students of grade V SD. The research method used is quasi experimental method with design of non equivalent control group pretest - posttest design. The research was conducted at SDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 Cimahi city. The population in this study were VA class students and VG students in the 2016 - 2017 school year, which amounted to 60 students. Sampling is done by purposive sampling. Instruments used in the form of observation and interview. Data obtained from pretest and posttest were then processed and analyzed using SPSS 23 application with Test Normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) and Hypothesis Testing (Mann-Whitney Test). The results obtained first, there is a significant difference between the ability meyimak news in students of class V before and after learning using learning model audiovisual audiences complete sentence. Second, the learning process using Complete Sentence learning model assisted by audio-visual media in improving the ability to listen to the news of grade V SD students is done by pre-hearing stage, when listening, and post-listening. Based on the conclusions of the results of research that has been described in the previous section, there are implications related to this research are: Learning to listen to the news by using a complete audiovisual aided instruction learning model is more effective than the model of learning used by teachers.
