Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning dalam mendorong pencapaian dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan self-efficacy matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan self-efficacy matematis siswa yang masih rendah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di salah satu MTs Negeri di Kabupaten Kampar, Propinsi Riau tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan teknik random sampling (sampel acak). Materi yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah bangun datar segi empat. Adapun instrumen pengumpul data pada penelitian ini adalah tes dan non-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pembelajaran dengan model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning dapat mendorong pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa secara keseluruhan, 2) Pembelajaran dengan model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah), 3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning secara keseluruhan, dan 4) Pembelajaran model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy matematis siswa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah).---- This research is a quasi experimental research with Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Which aims to analyze the application of learning with Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model in promoting achievement and improving problem solving skills, and students' mathematical self-efficacy. This research is motivated by problem solving ability, and students' low mathematical self-efficacy. The population of this study is all students of class VII in one MTs Negeri in Kampar regency, Riau Province academic year 2016/2017. The sample was determined by random sampling technique (random sample). The material chosen in this research is a rectangular wake. The data collecting instruments in this study are test and non-test. The result of the research shows that: 1) Learning with Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model can support the achievement of students 'mathematical problem solving abilities as a whole, 2) Learning with Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities overall and based on KAM (high , Moderate, low), 3) There is a positive correlation between improving students 'mathematical problem solving abilities with Learning Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model overall, and 4) Learning Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model can improve students' overall mathematical self-efficacy and Based on KAM (high, medium, low).
