Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ditemukannya perbedaan perlakuan terhadap siswa SD di beberapa negara yang berdampak pada respon siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas, itu semua terpengaruh dalam berbagai aspek dari perlakuan guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua negara yang berbeda yaitu di SDN Cipagalo 2 dan Reservoir West Primary School dengan dua guru sampel di masing-masing sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara mengajar guru di kelas dan mengetahui reward dan punishment yang diberikan guru di masing-masing negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang sebagian besar data yang diperoleh disajikan secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini terfokus pada bagaimana perlakuan guru kepada siswa dan bagaimana respon atau dampak yang diterima oleh siswa. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil data dari observasi yang dilakukan di kedua tempat, wawancara dengan masing-masing guru sampel, data tambahan seperti RPP (Rancangan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) dan beberapa hasil dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut ditemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa perbedaan bahwa guru di SDN Cipagalo 2 cenderung menggunakan Teacher Center Learning dalam pembelajaran dan guru di Reservoir West Primary School cenderung menggunakan Student Center Learning. Dari kedua sekolah tersebut terdapat beberapa cara pemberian reward dan punishment yang berbeda, di SDN Cipagalo 2 cenderung memberikan punishment positif, dengan arti mengadakan hal yang tidak disenangi siswa dan di Reservoir West Primary School cenderung menggunakan punishment negatif. Dari semua hasil terdapat perbedaan pula pada respon atau dampak yang diterima oleh siswa. Dengan demikian diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini bisa dijadikan suatu alternatif atau sumber untuk mengetahui bagaimana seorang guru memberikan perlakuan yang sesuai kepada siswanya.---- This research will be based by the discovery of the difference in the treatment of students in several countries that have an impact on the response of students in learning in the classroom, It's all affected in various aspects of the treatment of teachers. This research was conducted in two different schools, namely in SDN Cipagalo 2 and Reservoir West Primary School with two teachers sampled in each school. The purpose of this research is to find out how the treatment of teachers based on personality types, the way the teachers taught in the classroom and know the reward and punishment provided for teachers. This research uses qualitative descriptive method which most data obtained are presented in a descriptive. The study focused on how treatment of the teachers to the students and how the response or the impact received by students. This research get result data from observations made at both places, interviews with teachers of each sample, additional data such as RPP (Lesson Plan) and some documentation. Based on the results of the study found that there are some differences that teachers in SDN Cipagalo 2 tend to use Teacher Center Learning in learning and teachers in Reservoir West Primary School tend to use Student Learning Center. From these two school there are several ways of granting reward and punishment are different in SDN Cipagalo 2 tend to give positive punishment, with the sense of organising things that are not acceptable to students and in Reservoir West Primary School tend to use negative punishment. Of all the results, there is a difference in the response or the impact received by students. Thus the expected results of this research can be used as an alternative or a source to find out how a teacher give the appropriate treatment to their students.
