    Abstract

    Penelitian dilatar belakangi perhatian orang tua terhadap peserta didik yang orang tuanya bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja Indonesia dan melihat pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik. Sampel penelitian adalah 36 orang peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Arjawinangun Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang orang tua nya bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian dengan menggunakan kuantitatif studi korelasional, dan instrument penelitian adalah angket perhatian orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara perhatian orang tua dan prestasi peserta didik kelas XI. Penelitian ini memberikan masukan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling agar dapat memberikan layanan bimbingan untuk membantu peserta didik meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya;--- The background of the research is about parents attention toward the learners whose parents work as Indonesian Overseas Worker and perceive its effect over the learner’s achievement. Samples are 36 learners from class XI SMA Negeri 1 Arjawinangun, Academic Year of 2016/2017, whose parents work as The Indonesian Overseas Worker. The research’s approach uses quantitative correlational studies, and the research’s instrument is a parental concern questionnaire. The result of the research showed that there is a significantly negative correlation between the attention of parents and the achievement of learners from class XI. This study provides input for guidance and counseling teachers in order to provide guidance services to help learners improve their learning achievement.
