Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir lateral antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Reciprocal Teaching berbantuan Geogebra dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional; 2) Untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model Reciprocal Teaching berbantuan Geogebra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen (Non Equivalent Control Group Design) dan populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Karawang tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes dan instrumen non tes (berupa angket dan lembar observasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir lateral matematis siswa SMP yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Reciprocal Teaching berbantuan Geogebra lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Konvensional; 2) Siswa menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Reciprocal Teaching berbantuan Geogebra. Kata kunci : Kemampuan berpikir lateral, Reciprocal Teaching, Geogebra.   ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are 1) To analyze the enhancement of lateral thinking ability between a student that acquired a learning with Reciprocal Teaching (assisted by geogebra) and a student that acquired a learning with conventional model; 2) To analyze the student response to mathematics learning that applying Reciprocal Teaching model that assisted by Geogebra. The methods that used in this research is quasi-experiment methods and the design is non-equivalent control group. The population of this research is all the 7th grade student at one of the Junior High School in Karawang year 2016/2017, and the sample of this research is two classes of the chosen school. The instrument of this research are test-instrument and non test-instrument (questionnaire and observation paper). The result of this research show that: 1) The enhancement of lateral thinking ability of the student that acquired a learning with Reciprocal Teaching model that assisted by Geogebra is significantly higher than a student that acquired a learning with conventional model; 2) The students show a positive response to mathematics learning that applying Reciprocal Teaching model that assisted by Geogebra.
