Abstract
Ini adalah penelitian desain tentang pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis komunikasi matematis siswa SMP pada materi aritmetika sosial. Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah kesulitan belajar siswa yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada materi aritmetika sosial. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu mengembangkan bahan ajar sebagai alternatif solusi untuk meminimalisir kesulitan belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tugas-tugas pada bahan ajar yang dapat menfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian desain terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu preliminary first design, experiment, dan retroperspective analysis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Lembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk tugas-tugas yang disajikan dalam bahan ajar untuk menfasilitasi siswa melakukan kegiatan komunikasi matematis adalah tugas-tugas berbentuk cerita yang memberikan kesempatan pada siswa menyimpulkan dan mengungkap ide-ide matematika secara tertulis, diantaranya adalah menyimpulkan pengertian dari harga pembelian, harga penjualan, diskon (rabat), pajak, brutto, netto dan tara kemudian beberapa permasalahan yang memberikan pemahaman bagi siswa terhadap materi aritmetika sosial, selanjutnya diberikan beberapa permasalahan untuk mengukur sejauh mana pemahaman siswa This is a design research of the development of communication mathematical based teaching materials on junior high school students in topic of social arithmetic. The problem underlying this research is the students' learning ostacle related to mathematical communication skills in social arithmetic material. Therefore, teachers need to develop teaching materials as an alternative solution to minimize students' learning obstacle. The purpose of this study was to determine the tasks on teaching materials that can facilitate students' mathematical communication skills. The study design consists of three phases: first preliminary design, experiment, and retroperspective analysis. This research subject is class VII in one of junior high school in Lembang. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the shape of the tasks presented in teaching materials to facilitate student conduct mathematical communication are tasks shaped story that gives students the opportunity to summarize and reveal mathematical ideas in writing, which are summed up the sense of the purchase price, sales price, discount (rebate), tax gross, net and tare then some of the issues that provide insights for students of the material social arithmetic, then given several problems to measure the extent of students' understanding of the material as well as train communication skills mathematical students.
