Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian menguji efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan STAD terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik di SMAN 1 Kampung Dalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Exsperimental dengan desain eksperimen Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Grup Design. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS 3 dan XI IPS 4, dengan jumlah peserta didik masing-masing 34 dan 28 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedan peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode tipe TAI dan STAD. Pembelajaran tipe TAI lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tipe STAD. Implikasi dari penelitian adalah metode tipe TAI dan STAD mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. --- The aim of study is to test the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning both TAI and STAD toward student concept understanding in SMAN 1 Kampung Dalam. The method used is Quasi Experimental. Research of design is Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Group Design. The study was conducted on XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4 Class at SMAN 1 Kampung Dalam, with the number of students are 34 and 28 people respectively. The result showed that there are differences in improvement of students understanding between the TAI and STAD. TAI is more effective to improve student understanding of the concept than STAD. The implication of study is that student understanding of concept could be improved through the application of method type TAI and STAD.
