Abstract
Skripsi ini merupakan laporan penelitian tentang peningkatan kecerdasan ekologis siswa dalam pemanfaatan unsur abiotik melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) di kelas VII J SMPN 12 Bandung, melibatkan guru mata pelajaran IPS, dan peserta didik kelas VII J. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah:(1)Mengembangkan cara guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) berbahan dasar pemanfaatan unsur abiotik. (2)Melaksanakan proses kegiatan pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) berbahan dasar pemanfaatan unsur abiotik. (3)Mencari solusi untuk menghadapi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) berbahan dasar pemanfaatan unsur abiotik. (4)Mengetahui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) berbahan dasar pemanfaatan unsur abiotik dapat digunakan atau tidak untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis siswa. Alasan penulis melaksanakan penelitian ini adalah sebagai upaya menanggulangi permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VII J yaitu sikap ketidak pekaan dan tidak peduli siswa terhadap permasalahan lingkungan yang ada disekitar siswa, siswa kurang kreatif dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan unsur abiotik yang ada disekitar siswa, kurangnya pengetahuan dasar siswa tentang permasalahan yang diakibatkan oleh pengelolaan lingkungan yang kurang baik, sehingga berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut diasumsikan bahwa siswa memiliki tingkat kecerdasan ekologis yang sagat rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan desain peneltian PTK model Elliot revisi dari model Lewin meliputi: (a)identifikasi masalah, (b)Memeriksa di Lapangan (Reconnaissance), (c)Perencanaan, (d)Pelaksanaan, (e)Refleksi. Hasil analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek taman baca kreatif (berupa pop up book) dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis siswa dalam pemanfaatan unsur abiotik. dan berdasarkan tiga aspek penilaian indikator kecerdasan ekologis tersebut, aspek pengetahuan dan sikap mengalami peningkatan paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan aspek keterampilan.;--- This research is a report about the enhancement of students’ ecological intelligence of using abiotical elements through the project based learning-creative reading garden (popup book) as the action class research which is done in Class VII J SMPN 12 Bandung, the research is involved by social studies teachers and students of class VII J. The intentions of this research are : (1) develop teachers’ way planning leraning by using the model based learning, creative reading garden (Pop up book) based utilization of abiotical element, (2) act the process of learning social studies using a model project based learning-creative reading garden (pop up book) based utilization of abiotical element, (3)find a solutions to face the faced in the implementation of the model project based learning-creative reading garden(pop up book) based utilization of abiotical element, (4)Know the model of project based learning-creative reading garden (pop up book) based utilization of abiotical element can be used or not to increase the ecological intellegence of students. The reason from a writer for this research is an effort to solve the problems’ found in class VII J are the attitude of insensitivity and uncaring students to enviromental issues thet exist around with students, the student are less creative in managing and using abiotical element that surround students, and the lack of basic knowledge about the problems’ caused environmental management are less good, so it is based on something of these issues and it is assumed that students have a very low ecological intellegence level. For this research the writer used qualitative and quantitative method with design an action class research from Elliot revision of Lewin. The include from design are : (a) Identification of problem, (b) check the field (Reconnaissance), (c)Planning, (d)Implementation, (5)Reflection. The results of data analysis revealed that by using a project based learning-creative reading garden (pop up book), can inprove the ecological intellegence students in utilization of abiotical element, and based on three aspects of the ecological intellegence’ indicators, and aspects knowledge and attitude increased the most compared to skill aspect.
