Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh dukungan emosional dan motivasi terhadap self regulated learning (SRL) dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi di kelas X IPS SMAN 1 Lembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey eksplanatori. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPS SMAN 1 Lembang yang berjumlah 283 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada 165 siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Sedangkan, data sekunder diperoleh dari wawancara dengan siswa dan website yang berkaitan dengan isu dan gambaran umum objek penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan dukungan emosional dan motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap self regulated learning dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Dengan demikian, semakin besar dukungan emosional dan motivasi, maka self regulated learning dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa akan semakin besar pula.;--- This research aims to describe the influence of emotional support and motivation in the development of self-regulated learning (SRL) and student’s metacognitive skills on economic subjects in grade 10 social class at Lembang senior high school. The method used in this research is an explanatory survey. The population in this researchis whole students of grade 10 in social class, with a number of students about283 with the sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires to 165 students assamples. Meanwhile, secondary data obtained from interviews with students and website related issues with a general description of the object of research. The data analysis technique using path analysis. The result of the research show the existence of a positive effect of emotional support and motivation towards student’s self-regulated learning and metacognitive skills. The greater emotional support and motivation, self-regulated learning and metacognitive skills also getting greater.
