Abstract
Pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional Bahasa Jepang tingkat SMA di Indonesia dilaksanakan secara tertulis dan soal-soal yang terdapat di dalamnya disajikan dalam tulisan Jepang, tentu saja kemampuan siswa dalam membaca menjadi keterampilan berbahasa yang utama dibanding keterampilan berbahasa yang lain. Oleh karena itu guru harus mampu memberikan pengajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam membaca. Dengan menggunakan metode Learning Cell peneliti ingin mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks berbahasa Jepang siswa baik kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian ini, kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks berbahasa Jepang siswa kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan metode Learning Cell lebih baik dibandingkan siswa kelas kontrol yang diterapkan metode terjemahan. Berdasarkan hasil angket, pembelajaran dengan metode Learning Cell lebih menarik dan menantang, selain itu siswa mendapat kesempatan untuk dapat memahami sendiri makna dari teks bahasa Jepang yang diberikan, sehingga timbul rasa kemandirian dalam belajar, bekerjasama dengan teman, berfikir kreatif dan fokus terhadap pelajaran, berusaha keras untuk dapat mengidentifikasi huruf, kosakata, ungkapan, pola kalimat, isi dan makna teks bahasa Jepang secara mandiri sampai akhirnya mereka dapat membuat dan menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks bahasa Jepang yang diberikan. Kata kunci : Metode Learning Cell, membaca, membaca pemahaman. Implementation of national examinations japanese high school in Indonesia took place in writing and the question is presented in Japanese writing , of course the students’ skills in reading more important than the other language skills. Therefore, teachers must be able to provide teaching can improve students’ skills in reading. By using learning cell method, the autors wanted to determine the increase reading comprehension of Japanese language text both for the students experimental class and control class. The result of this research , ability of reading comprehension of text in japanese for students experiment applied a method of learning cell is better than a student control applied method translation . Based on the results of questionnaire, learning with the learning cell methods more attractive and challenge, in addition students get a chance to be able to understand own the meaning of japanese text that given , so that arising think independence in learning , working with friends , reflect creative and a focus on lessons , worked hard to can identify letters , vocabulary , expression , pattern sentence , the content and meaning of japanese text independently until when they can make and answer a question based on a japanese text that given .
