    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi lemahnya kemampuan menulis laporan perjalanan dalam bahasa Sunda siswa kelas VIII-B SMPN 16 Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: 1) kemampuan menulis laporan perjalanan dalam bahasa Sunda sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model induktif kata bergambar; 2) perbedaan secara signifikan antara kemampuan menulis laporan perjalanan dalam bahasa Sunda sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model induktif kata bergambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, menggunakan desain one grup pretest and posttest. Tehnik tes dan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan menulis laporan perjalanan membuktikan adanya peningkatan kemampuan awal 57,09%, meningkat menjadi 87,14% yang hasil peningkatannya sebesar 30,05%. Hasil dari uji hipotesis menunjukan t hitung > t tabel yaitu 24,04 > 2,43 artinya alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis (H0) ditolak. Kesimpulannya adalah adanya peningkatan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis laporan perjalanan dalam bahasa Sunda siswa kelas VIII-B SMPN 16 Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model induktif kata bergambar.

    This research based on the weakness of ability to write a trip report in bahasa Sunda of Class VIII-B SMPN 16 Bandung academic year 2015/2016. According to the problem, this research purposed to describe: (1) the ability to write trip report in bahasa Sunda before and after using inductive pictured word model; (2) significant difference between the ability to write trip report in bahasa Sunda before and after using inducted pictured word model. The method used in this research is quasi experiment method, using one grup pretest and posttest design. Test techniave and instrument used is test form. According to the result of ability to write trip report that there was progress on students ability in write trip repot from 57,09% to 87,14% which means there is 30,05% in of progress. The result of hypothesis test shows that tcalculate > ttable which is 24,04 > 2,43 that means alternative (Ha) accepted and hypothesis (H0) rejected. In conclusion, there is significant increase between the ability to write trip report in bahasa Sunda of class VIII-B SMPN 16 Bandung academic year 2015/2016 before and after using inductive pictured word model.
