Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan spasial matematis siswa SMP melalui pembelajaran berbantuan GeoGebra. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kolompok non-ekuivalen. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 Cileungsi Bogor kelas VII yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika berbantuan GeoGebra, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika konvensional. Siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dibagi dalam tiga level kemampuan berdasarkan Kemampuan Awal Matematis (KAM) yaitu level tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari instrumen tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan spasial matematis. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika berbantuan GeoGebra lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; (2) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang terjadi pada siswa kelompok tinggi dan sedang; sedang dan rendah, serta pasangan kelompok tinggi dan rendah; (3) Peningkatan kemampuan spasial siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika berbantuan GeoGebra lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; (4) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan antara kemampuan spasial matematis yang terjadi pada siswa kelompok tinggi dan sedang, serta pasangan kelompok tinggi dan rendah. Sedangkan untuk kelompok siswa sedang dan rendah tidak memiliki perbedaan. This study is a quasi-experimental research design with the non-equivalen groups design. Subjects were students of SMP Negeri 1 Cileungsi Bogor class VII is divided into an experimental group and control group. The experimental group experiment to get the learning of mathematics with GeoGebra assisted, while the control group get conventional approach to learning mathematics. Students in the experimental group and control group is divided into three levels based on the ability of Early Mathematical Ability (KAM) is a high-level, medium, and low. The research instrument consisted of test instruments and spatial ability of understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the results of data processing can be concluded: (1) Improving the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students acquire learning model mathematics with GeoGebra assisted is better than the students who conventional approach; (2) There is a difference between the ability to increase understanding of the mathematical concepts that occurred in high and medium groups of students; medium and low, and the pair of high and low groups; (3) Improved spatial ability of students to obtain a mathematical model of learning aided GeoGebra better than students who obtained conventional approach; (4) There is a difference between the increase in the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that occurred in high and medium groups of students, as well as a couple of high and low groups.
