Abstract
Penelitiandanpengembanganinibertujuanuntukmengembangkan multimedia pembelajarangame berbasismetodediscovery padamaterikonsepdasarinstalasisistemoperasidanmengetahuikelayakandanpenilaiansiswaterhadap multimedia yang dikembangkan. Pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran game ini memilikitahapan – tahapan yaitu tahapanalisisdandefinisipersyaratan, tahap perancangan sistem danperangkatlunak, tahap implementasidanpengujian unit, tahap integrasidanpengujiansistem dan tahap operasi dan pemeliharaan. Berdasarkantahapan – tahapanpenelitian yang dilakukandidapatkanhasilbahwa multimedia pembelajaran game yang dikembangkan berbasis atau menggunakan metode discovery. Penggunaan metode ini ditujukan untuk membuat pengguna atau siswa lebih aktif dan menemukan sendiri materi yang belum disampaikan oleh guru secara keseluruhan sehingga siswa menemukan sendiri makna dari pemebelajaran yang dilakukan. Selainitudiperolehjugadata penelitian dari pengolahan angket penilaian ahli yang diberikan kepada dosen dan guru dan angket penilaian siswa yang diberikan pada siswa kelas X jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) SMK Persis 02 Bandung pada tahap integrasi dan pengujian sistem. Berdasarkanpengolahan data dariangketdidapatkanhasil : 1) Multimedia yang dikembangkandinyatakanlayakdigunakandenganpersentase 82,81dariahli media yang dapatdikategorikansangatbaikdan 75dariahlimateri yang dapatdikategorikanbaik. 2) Penilaiansiswaterhadap multimedia yang dikembangkansangatbaikdenganpersentase 84,87. The purpose of these research and development are for developing game learning multimedia with discovery methodat the basic concep materials of instalation operation system and for knowing reasonable and evaluation of students to the developing multimedia. This development of game learning multimedia have steps. Those are analysis and recruitment definition steps, design of system and software steps, implementation and examination unit steps, integration and and examination system steps and operation and maintenance steps. Based on the research steps, the writer got result that game learning multimedia which was developed use discovery method. The usage of this method intended to make user or students more active and find the materials which not explain yet by teacher, so the students find the meaning of learning by their self. Beside it, the writer got research data from questionnaire process of expert’s judgment which was given to lecture and teacherandquestionnaire process of students was given to the students class X program computer engineering and network SMK Persis 02 Bandung at the integration and and examination system steps. Based on data process from questionnaire, the writer got results: 1) The developing multimedia was able to used. This statement was 82,81 percent from best expert of media, and 75 percent from good expert of material. 2) Students' research at the developing multimedia were very good with 84,87 percent.
