    Abstract

    Bahasa Inggris merupakan keterampilan penting dalam era globalisasi, namun banyak peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai tata bahasa (grammar). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul guna meningkatkan kemampuan tata bahasa Inggris peserta didik, khususnya pada materi Part of Speech di MTsS Darul Ihsan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan pendekatan Mix Method. Tahapan pengembangan mencakup lima langkah, yaitu identifikasi potensi dan masalah, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 peserta didik kelas VII yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi ahli materi dan media, angket respons guru serta peserta didik, serta tes pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif untuk menelaah hasil validasi dan respons pengguna, serta secara kuantitatif menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berada pada kategori “sangat layak” berdasarkan penilaian ahli, memperoleh respons positif dari guru dan peserta didik, serta terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan tata bahasa peserta didik pada materi Part of Speech. Dengan demikian, e-modul ini dinilai valid, praktis, dan efektif sebagai alternatif bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. English is an essential skill in the era of globalization; however, many students still encounter difficulties in mastering grammar. This study aims to develop an e-module to improve students’ English grammar competence, particularly on the topic of Part of Speech at MTsS Darul Ihsan. The research employed the Design and Development (D&D) model with a Mixed-Method approach. The development procedure comprised five stages: identifying potentials and problems, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 24 seventh-grade students selected through total sampling. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires (content and media), teacher and student response questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test instruments. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively to examine validation results and user responses, and quantitatively using paired sample t-test and N-Gain calculations. The results indicated that the e-module was categorized as “highly feasible” according to expert judgment, received positive responses from both teachers and students, and proved effective in enhancing students’ grammar competence in Part of Speech. Therefore, the developed e-module is considered valid, practical, and effective as an alternative instructional material for English language learning.
