Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi sistem persuratan berbasis web dengan menggunakan PHPRAD Classic dan Framework Code Igniter sebagai aplikasi kedua. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dengan menggunakan metode 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Hasil pengembangan diuji dengan menggunakan instrumen angket terhadap ahli kearsipan, ahli teknologi, dan Kepala serta staf tata usaha untuk mengetahui kelayakan aplikasi yang dibuat. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa menurut ahli kearsipan, ahli teknologi, dan kepala serta staff tata usaha aplikasi yang dibuat sangat layak digunakan. Dengan demikian, aplikasi yang dibuat dapat digunakan oleh SMK Muhammadiyah Majalaya dalam proses persuratan. Kata kunci: PHPRAD Classic, sistem persuratan This study aims to develop a web-based correspondence system application using PHPRAD Classic and the CodeIgniter framework as the secondary application. The research is classified as developmental research, employing the 4D method (define, design, develop, disseminate). The results of the development were tested using a questionnaire instrument for archival experts, technology experts, and the Head and staff of the administrative office to assess the feasibility of the created application. The feasibility testing results show that, according to the archival experts, technology experts, and administrative staff, the application is highly feasible for use. Therefore, the developed application can be used by SMK Muhammadiyah Majalaya in managing the correspondence process. Keywords: PHPRAD Classic, correspondence system.
