Abstract
Pemerintah meluncurkan Platform Merdeka Mengajar untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, namun kesiapan guru dalam mengadopsi dan mengimplementasikannya masih bervariasi. Nyatanya, masih banyak guru yang belum siap dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka, dan 48% di antaranya perlu meningkatkan penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar dengan kesiapan guru pada aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian studi korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu melibatkan 44 guru di SMP Negeri 2 Bandung sebagai responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukan nilai koefisien korelasi antara penggunaan PMM dengan kesiapan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka sebesar 0,812 artinya memiliki tingkat korelasi sangat kuat. Pada aspek perencanaan nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,628 artinya tingkat korelasi kuat, pada aspek pelaksanaan nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,662 artinya tingkat korelasi kuat, dan pada aspek evaluasi nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,473 artinya tingkat korelasi sedang atau cukup. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa platform ini dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendukung guru untuk memahami dan mengaplikasikan kurikulum baru. Selain itu, platform ini juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapan guru pada aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar sekolah dan pihak terkait memberikan dukungan yang lebih besar dalam penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar untuk meningkatkan kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum. The government launched the Merdeka Mengajar Platform to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, but teacher readiness in adopting and implementing it still varies. In fact, there are still many teachers who are not ready to implement the Merdeka Curriculum, and 48% of them need to increase the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. This study aims to explore the relationship between the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform and teacher readiness in the aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational study research method. The sample in this study involved 44 teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Bandung as respondents, with a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value between the use of PMM and teacher readiness in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum of 0.812, meaning it has a very strong correlation level. In the planning aspect, the correlation coefficient value is 0.628, meaning a strong correlation level, in the implementation aspect, the correlation coefficient value is 0.662, meaning a strong correlation level, and in the evaluation aspect, the correlation coefficient value is 0.473, meaning a moderate or sufficient correlation level. These findings indicate that this platform can be an effective tool in supporting teachers to understand and apply the new curriculum. In addition, this platform also plays an important role in improving teacher readiness in the aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation in the implementation of the independent curriculum. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that schools and related parties provide greater support in the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform to improve teacher readiness in facing curriculum changes.
