Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan model pembelajaran yang berbeda dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi agar siswa lebih terbantu. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan dapat juga dibantu oleh media pembelajaran yang menarik. Salah satu model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model Experiental Learning dan film animasi pendek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efektivitas model Experiental Learning berbantuan film animasi pendek dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi siswa kelas VII. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII-I sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII-H sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. Hasil awal dan akhir kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diuji menggunakan Uji Independent Sample Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent Sample T menggunakan aplikasi SPSS, nilai thitung yang didapat adalah 0,119. Derajat kebebasan dapat diperoleh dari nx + ny – 2 = 28 + 28 – 2 = 54. Ttabel dengan derajat kebebasan 54 dan taraf signifikansi 0,05 adalah 2,005. Hasil di atas menunjukkan bahwa thitung < ttabel yakni 0,119 < 2,005 yang berarti Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Experiental Learning berbantuan media film animasi pendek tidak efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi siswa kelas VII. This research is motivated by the need for a different learning model in learning to write narrative text so that students are more helpful. The learning model used can also be assisted by interesting learning media. One of the learning models and learning media that can be used is the Experiental Learning model and short animated films. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of the Experiental Learning model assisted by short animated films in learning to write narrative texts for grade VII students. Penel. This research method is quantitative research with experimental research type. The research design used was nonequivalent control group. This research was conducted on students of class VII-I as the experimental class and VII-H as the control class at SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. The initial and final results of the experimental and control classes were tested using the Independent Sample Test. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T test using the SPSS application, the tcount value obtained is 0.119. The degree of freedom can be obtained from nx + ny - 2 = 28 + 28 - 2 = 54. The table with 54 degrees of freedom and a significance level of 0.05 is 2.005. The results above show that tcount < ttable which is 0.119 < 2.005 which means Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the Experiental Learning model assisted by short animated film media is not effective in learning to write narrative texts for grade VII students.
