Abstract
Perbankan merupakan tempat menghimpun dan menyalurkan dana masyarakat, salah satu jenisnya adalah BPR. Dalam menjalankan operasionalnya BPR menghadapi beberapa tantangan yang berkaitan erat dengan keberlangsungan operasional BPR itu sendiri. Maka dari itu BPR dituntut untuk selalu menjaga kondisi internalnya, terutama dalam nilai asset produktif serta kinerja keuangan lainnya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peningkatan persaingan antar bank serta rendahnya daya saing BPR jika dibandingkan dengan bank-bank lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kinerja Bank berdasarkan efisiensi asset produktif sebagai alat ukur daya saing antar Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Se-Kab. Majalengka serta mengetahui kinerja Bank berdasarkan efisiensi asset produktif dengan pendekatan Data Envelopment Analysis. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah perhitungan nonparametrik Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan asumsi Constant dan Variabel Return to Scale (CRS dan VRS) untuk menghitung efisiensi input-input terhadap output. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan (financial statement) BPR di Kabupaten Majalengka yang dipublikasikan tahun 2009-2013. Dari hasil analisis efisiensi didapatkan bahwa nilai efisiensi BPR di Kabupaten Majalengka dengan asumsi Constant Return to Scale (CRS) yaitu sebesar 97,79%.Sedangkan untuk nilai efisiensi dengan asumsi Variabel Return to Scale (VRS), yaitu sebesar 99,31%. Banking is a place to collect and distribute public funds, one of the type is Rural Bank (RB). In carrying out the operational, RBs facing several challenges closely associated with the operational sustainability RBs itself. Therefore RBsare required to always maintaintheir internal conditions, especially in the value of earning assets and other financial performances. The backgrounds of this research are the increasing of the competition between banks and the low competitiveness of the RBs when they are being compared with other banks. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the Bank based on the efficiency of earning assets as a measure of competitiveness between RBsat the district of Majalengka and investigate the performance of the RB based on the efficiency of earning assets with Data Envelopment Analysis approach. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method. The analytical tool used in this research is the calculation of nonparametric, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with the assumption of Constant and Variable Return to Scale (CRS and VRS) to calculate the efficiency of inputs to outputs. The data used are secondary data from financial statements (financial statements) RBs in the district of Majalengka published in 2009-2013. From the analysis it was found that the value of the efficiency of RB in the district of Majalengka with Constant Return to Scale (CRS)assumption is equal to 97.79%. As for the value of efficiency with Variable Return to Scale (VRS) assumption, amounted to 99.31%.
