Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kinerja peserta didik sebagai social worker dalam praktik pelayanan pendampingan anak di SMK Jurusan Pekerjaan Sosial. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada kemampuan peserta didik dalam menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari, serta bagaimana mereka berinteraksi dan mendampingi anak-anak di lingkungan daycare. Penilaian dilakukan pada tiga aspek utama yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor, yang mencerminkan kemampuan intelektual, sikap, serta keterampilan praktis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian peserta didik dinilai kompeten dalam melaksanakan peran mereka sebagai social worker, terutama dalam mengajarkan dan mendampingi anak-anak pada aktivitas motorik dan sosial. Sementara itu, hampir setengah dari peserta didik memperoleh nilai dengan kriteria cukup kompeten, menunjukkan bahwa masih ada ruang untuk perbaikan dalam beberapa aspek kinerja mereka. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang kesiapan dan kompetensi peserta didik dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas sosial yang berkaitan dengan pendampingan anak. This research explores learners' performance as social workers in the practice of child mentoring services in vocational schools majoring in social work. The focus of this research is on learners' ability to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned, as well as how they interact and assist children in a daycare environment. Assessment was conducted on three main aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, reflecting learners' intellectual abilities, attitudes, and practical skills. The results showed that most learners were considered competent in carrying out their roles as social workers, especially in teaching and assisting children in motor and social activities. Meanwhile, almost half of the learners scored moderately competent, indicating that there is still room for improvement in some aspects of their performance. Overall, this study provides an overview of learners' readiness and competence in carrying out social tasks related to assisting children.
