Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Digital Textbook untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep Siswa SMA Pada Materi Sistem Gerak”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan digital textbook dan tidak menggunakan digital textbook pada materi sistem gerak. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan non-equivalent control group design dengan subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas XI IPA SMA yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran menggunakan digital textbook dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan buku cetak. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk penguasaan konsep berupa soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 30 soal serta lembar observasi tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran penerapan digital textbook. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hasil posttest penguasaan konsep pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Sementara untuk hasil capaian kategori N-gain pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan penguasaan konsep yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang sebesar 83,87% dan kategori tinggi sebesar 16,13%. Sedangkan hasil capaian kategori N-gain pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan penguasaan konsep yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang sebesar 77,42% dan kategori rendah sebesar 32,28%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa perolehan capaian kategori N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan perolehan capaian kategori N-gain kelas kontrol. Hasil observasi tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran peserta didik dari ketiga pertemuan menggunakan digital textbook pada saat kegiatan inti. Hasil angket respon siswa terhadap penerapan digital textbook dalam pembelajaran diketahui hasil rata-rata total sebesar 75,60% sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan digital textbook dalam pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh pada perubahan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi sistem gerak. This research is entitled "Application of Digital Textbook to Improve High School Students' Concept Mastery on Motion System Material". This study aims to obtain information about the improvement of students' concept mastery before and after learning using digital textbooks and not using digital textbooks on the material of the motion system. This research design uses a non-equivalent control group design with the research subjects being high school science XI class students consisting of experimental classes with learning using digital textbooks and control classes using printed books. The research instrument used for concept mastery is in the form of multiple choice questions consisting of 30 questions and observation sheets for the stages of learning activities using digital textbooks. The result showed that the posttest results of concept mastery in the experimental class and control class there is a significant difference. While for the results of the N-gain pretest and posttest categories for the experimental class experienced an increase in concept mastery which was include in the medium category by 83,87% and in the high category by 16,13%. Meanwhile, the results of the N-gain pretest and posttest categories for the control class experienced an increase in concept mastery, which was included in the medium category by 77,42% and in the low category by 32,28%. The result showed that the achievements in the N-gain category for the experimental class are better than the achievements in the N-gain category for the control class. The results of observations of the stages of learning activities of students from the three meetings using digital textbooks during core activities. The result of the student response questionnaire regarding the application of digital textbooks in learning showed that the total average result was 75,60% so it was included in the good category. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the application of digital textbooks in learning has an influence on changes in students' mastery of concepts on the material of the motion system.
