Abstract
Pada era digital saat ini, perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya aplikasi mobile, telah membuka peluang baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Siswa memiliki akses mudah ke perangkat pintar seperti ponsel cerdas dan tablet. Meskipun teknologi ini memberikan kemudahan akses informasi, tantangan sosial seperti kurangnya kesadaran dan peduli lingkungan tetap ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun karakter peduli lingkungan dengan mengembangkan model pembelajaran civic intelligence berbasis diary android untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development (R&D). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa SD Penggerak di Kabuspaten Temanggung sejumlah 500 orang dari 5 Sekolah dengan sampel sejumlah 128 orang, 64 siswa kelas kontrol dan 64 siswa kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Gambaran awal kondisi di SD Penggerak terkait karakter peduli lingkungan dan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan civic intelligence berbasis platform digital belum optimal. 2) Pengembangan model pembelajaran civic intelligence berbasis diary android untuk menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa SD terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu; mengidentifikasi masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, menetapkan solusi, melakukan aksi nyata, refleksi dan dokumentasi dengan diary android. Langkah ini mengeksplorasi potensi solusi melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. 3) Hasil uji efektifitas penerapan model pembelajaran civic intelligence berbasis aplikasi diary android menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap karakter peduli lingkungan siswa SD. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran civic intelligence berbasis diary android ini mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan melalui penggunaan platform digital. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoreitis dengan mengintegrasikan teori-teori belajar konstruktivisme dan behaviorisme, perkembangan moral anak, dan teori pendidikan karakter dalam konteks pembelajaran civic intelligence berbasis diary android. In the current digital era, the development of information technology, especially mobile applications, has opened up new opportunities in the world of education. Students have easy access to smart devices such as smartphones and tablets. Even though this technology provides easy access to information, social challenges such as lack of environmental awareness and concern remain. This research aims to build an environmentally caring character by developing an Android diary-based civic intelligence learning model for elementary school students in Temanggung Regency. This research uses a research and development (R&D) design. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, questionnaires, observation, documentation studies and literature studies. The population in this study was 500 elementary school students in Temanggung Regency from 5 schools with a sample of 128 people, 64 students in the control class and 64 students in the experimental class. The results of the research show that: 1) The initial description of the conditions at the Driving Elementary School regarding the character of caring for the environment and learning that develops digital platform-based civic intelligence is not yet optimal. 2) Developing an Android diary-based civic intelligence learning model to foster environmentally caring character in elementary school students consists of five steps, namely; identify problems, collect information, determine solutions, take real action, reflect and document with android diary. This step explores potential solutions through the use of technology. 3) The results of the effectiveness test of implementing the civic intelligence learning model based on the Android diary application show a significant increase in the environmentally caring character of elementary school students. These results prove that the application of the Android diary-based civic intelligence learning model encourages students to develop knowledge, skills and character that cares about the environment through the use of digital platforms. This research makes a theoretical contribution by integrating the learning theories of constructivism and behaviorism, children's moral development, and character education theory in the context of Android diary-based civic intelligence learning.
