Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan: (1) Kontribusi adversity quotient terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah menengah pertama, (2) Kontribusi task commitment terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah menengah pertama (3) Kontribusi adversity quotient dan task commitment secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survey korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini diambil secara acak dari salah satu kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Bandung. Instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah angket dan studi dokumenter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) Adversity quotient berkontribusi signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP dengan persentase sebesar 45,9%, (2) Task commitment berkontribusi signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP dengan persentase sebesar 49,3%, (3) Adversity quotient dan task commitment berkontribusi secara bersama-sama atau simultan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP dengan persentase sebesar 62,3%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 37,7% dikontribusi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti di dalam penelitian tersebut. This study aims to determine: (1) Contribution of adversity quotient to the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students (2) Contribution of task commitment to the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students (3) Contribution of adversity quotient and task commitment together to learning outcomes of junior high school students. This study uses quantitative methods with a correlational survey research design. The subjects of this study were taken randomly from one of the 7th grade students in one of the public junior high schools in Bandung. The instruments of this research are questionnaires and documentary studies. Based on the results of the study, it is known that (1) Adversity quotient has a significant contributes to the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students with a percentage of 45.9%, (2) Task commitment has a significantly contributes to the mathematucs learning outcomes of junior high school students with a percentage of 49.3%, (3) Adversity quotient and task commitment comtribute jointly or simultaneously to the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students with a percentage of 62,3%, while the remaining 37,7% is contributed by other variable not examined in the study.
