Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh unsur fantasi yang memukau yang terkandung dari novel Sagaras karya Tere Liye yang dapat meningkatkan daya imajinasi dan efek candu bagi pembacanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur pembangun novel, unsur fantasi pada novel, serta pemanfaatan hasil analisis sebagai bahan ajar teks cerita fantasi untuk kelas VII SMP/MTs. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data dari novel Sagaras karya Tere Liye. Alur utama pada penelitian ini mengisahkan tentang perjuangan Ali, Raib, Seli, dan Batozar untuk menemukan sebuah Klan Bernama Sagaras, dan melawan Ksatria Klan Sagaras agar Ali dapat menemukan jawaban tentang keberadaan orang tuanya. Sudut pandang yang digunakan adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga dia-an maha tau dengan penceritaan wicara yang dinarasikan dan wicara yang dilaporkan. Adapun unsur fantasi yang ditemukan dalam novel dikelompokkan menjadi tiga yaitu: 1) distorsi waktu 2) dislokasi tempat, dan 3) disorientasi realita. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar teks cerita fantasi untuk kelas VII SMP/MTs berupa modul elektronik. Adapun kelengkapan dalam modul elektronik berisi sampul depan dan belakang, halaman hak cipta, kata pengantar, daftar isi, pendahuluan, peta konsep, isi modul, evaluasi, proyek literasi, kunci jawaban, glosarium, daftar pustaka, jendela sastra, dan profil penulis. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, fantasi, novel, struktur novel, unsur fantasi ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the mesmerizing fantasy elements contained in the novel Sagaras by Tere Liye which can increase the imagination and addictive effect for its readers. This research aims to describe the novel's building structure, fantasy elements in the novel, as well as the utilization of the analysis results as teaching materials for fantasy story texts for class VII SMP/MTs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data sources from the novel Sagaras by Tere Liye. The main plot of this research tells about the struggle of Ali, Raib, Seli, and Batozar to find a clan named Sagaras, and fight the Sagaras clan knights so that Ali can find answers about the whereabouts of his parents. The point of view used is the third person dia-an omniscient point of view with narrated speech and reported speech. The fantasy elements found in the novel are grouped into three, namely: 1) time distortion 2) place dislocation, and 3) reality disorientation. The analysis results obtained are utilized as teaching materials for fantasy story texts for class VII SMP/MTs in the form of electronic modules. The completeness of the electronic module contains front and back covers, copyright page, preface, table of contents, introduction, concept map, module content, evaluation, literacy project, answer key, glossary, bibliography, literature window, and author profile.
