Abstract
Keragaman hubungan antara gaya mengajar guru dan gaya belajar siswa mengakibatkan kemungkinan adanya kecocokan dan ketidakcocokan. Ketika gaya mengajar guru tidak memiliki kecocokan dengan gaya belajar siswa di kelas, maka dapat berpotensi merusak minat dan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran, sehingga mengakibatkan prestasi yang buruk selama proses belajar. Sehingga mengungkap kecocokan antara keduanya perlu dilakukan. Menurut para peneliti, faktor kecocokan sebaiknya dilihat dari gejala empiris yang terjadi. salah satu cara pemantauan kecocokan adalah dengan cara prediksi. Salah satu Metode Decision making yaitu Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP merupakan salah satu teknik decision making yang sering digunakan dalam mengambilan keputusan kompleks. Sehingga, cocok digunakan untuk mengungkap faktor kecocokan yang paling berpengaruh. Pengembangan asesmen kecocokan berdasarkan Model VAK juga perlu dilakukan untuk memusatkan pengungkapan kecocokan pada gaya mengajar guru dan gaya belajar siswa. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan AHP dan asesmen kecocokan VAK pada guru dan siswa RPL SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon, ditemukan bahwa diantara faktor empiris kecocokan (gaya mengajar guru, pengalaman guru, dan mata pelajaran), gaya mengajar mendapat persentase tertinggi sebagai faktor yang paling mempengaruhi kecocokan bagi siswa sebesar 59%, serta pola pasangan kecocokan antara gaya mengajar guru dan belajar siswa yang terbentuk yaitu gaya mengajar Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic dan gaya belajar Visual-Auditory serta gaya mengajar Visual-Kinesthetic dan gaya belajar Visual-Auditory. The diversity of the relationship between teacher’s teaching style and student’s learning style results the possibility of match and mismatch. When teacher’s teaching style does not macth the student’s learning style in the classroom, it can potentially damage students’ interest in and attitude toward learning, hence resulting in poor achievement. Therefore, discovering the match between them is necessary. According to researchers, the factor of matching should be observed from empirical phenomena that occur. One of the way to monitor matching is through prediction. One of decision making methods is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is frequently used for complex decision-making. Thus, it is suitable to be used to discover the most influential matching factors. Developig matching assessment based on the VAK Model is also mecessary to focus on discovering the match between teacher’s teaching style and student’s learning style. After calculating the AHP and VAK macthing assessment on teachers and students in RPL program at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon, it was found that emong empirical factors of macthing (teaching style, teacher’s experience, and subject matter), teaching style had the highest percentage as the most influential factor for students at 59%. Furthermore the pattern of match between teacher’s teaching style and student’s learning style that formed are the Visual-Kinesthetic-Auditory teaching style and Visual-Auditory learning style, as well as the Visual-Kinesthetic teaching style and Visual-Auditory learning style.
