Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan menyimak siswa pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas v Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan metode Studi Kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa instrumen penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data diantaranya melalui wawancara bersama orang tua dan wali kelas, observasi dan tes keterampilan menyimak pada pembelajaran tematik. Kemudian menganalisisnya secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga subjek siswa kelas V SDN Lemah Makmur 1 di kecamatan Tempuran kabupaten Karawang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak ketiga siswa tersebut masih kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan. Ketiga subjek masih belum mencapai indikator kreteria penilaian menyimak. Kurangnya tingkat keterampilan menyimak ini disebabkan kurangnya konsentrasi siswa saat pembelajaran berlangsung, tingkat pemahaman lemah, kurangnya bimbingan belajar dan kreativitas guru yang kurang ditingkatkan. Peneliti menyarankan solusi yang tepat untuk diterapkan guna mengatasi kesulitan keterampilan menyimak siswa pada pemelajaran tematik salah satunya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe NHT atau numbread head together. This study aims to determine the level of listening skills of students on the thematic learning in class V Elementary School. This type of research is a Qualitative Descriptive with the Case Study method. This study used several research instruments to collect data including interviews some parents and homeroom teachers, observation and listening skills tests on thematic learning. Then analyze it qualitatively. This study interviewed three subjects of Class V students at Lemah Makmur 1 Elementary School located in Tempuran sub-district, Karawang Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the listening skills of the three students must be improved. The three subjects still did not reach the listening assessment criteria indicator .Of results is based on the results of the observations and listening skills tests that haven’t meet with the listening skills assessment criteria. This lack of listening skills is due to the lack of concentration of the students when they are learning, lack of tutoring by teachers, and lack of improvement in teacher creativity. Researchers suggest the right solution to be applied to overcome the difficulties of students' listening skills in thematic learning, one of which is by using the NHT type cooperative learning or numbread head together.
